Parasyte The Grey Coming. Its a great show so far. Even if you already know the anime and if you dont. Its fine as the character is different from the anime but in the same universe.
What’s your take on that K drama “Lovely Runner”. I see the most comments for that and the plus side , it’s airing.

2024-04-27 19:19:47 +0000 UTCI think the reason why there are not many reactions to Lovely Runner on youtube is that the show didn't have much anticipation before its airing. It's adapted from a web novel but the web novel is not as popular as True Beauty, and the cast are young actors, it's Byeon Wooseok's first lead role in a drama. After the episodes aired, it's slowly getting attention and doing so well both internationally and domestically now. If you search for the reaction in Korean, there are many youtuber started doing reaction to it, and I rarely see Korean people doing reaction to kdrama. For the specific analytics, there're about 20k to 40k views for lovely runner reaction on this 3k subs channel. There is a 170k view video of a 200k subs channel too. I also see some patreon creators decided to react to lovely runner after their current series ends. So I think this show has the potential and will become the one that people recommend for patreon reaction in the future.

2024-04-27 17:57:21 +0000 UTCI'm loving Lovely Runner so far. I've been watching kdrama for 10 years but slowly lost interest lately as I become pickier. Tbh I dropped almost all of the recent popular ones either because of the "had potential but went downhill" script or the actors' poor acting. With that being said, Lovely Runner keeps me on edge waiting for new episode each week, the feeling that I lost 2 years ago :)) I started this with not much expectation but it's surprisingly good by the way they direct and execute the old time-slip premise. It has the perfect balance of romance, comedy, angst and unexpected twists. The ML and FL are doing great too, their chemistry is sizzling. It's only 6 episodes for now but if they can keep the quality till the end, it will be one of my all-time faves.

I understand and I agree you with you on that. For example a few years ago another YouTube channel that mainly did anime tried to do reaction to crash landing on YouTube but was hit with a copyright issue and the reaction was taken down as a result of that. Again I’m not disagreeing with your method for using YouTube. I’m saying when it comes certain dramas that are either older or not from Netflix, Hulu/disney and that due to previous issues before with trying to do reactions to kdramas . That for those instances that other sources or platforms should be taken into consideration for reactions. This is only my opinion. This is your decision/channel and ultimately I will support whatever your decision is regarding whatever drama get’s reacted to. I just wanted to state my thoughts on the matter for the record. That’s all. I apologize if it came off that I was criticizing you about using YouTube in order to see if it has audience that was not my intention.

The reason I suggest the show is because I think that you would like the love story between the ml and fl and their side characters stories 😂 Its okay tho all good 👍

And the market is generally accurate to follow and the homeowner eventually sells at the price i said. Or they fire me. And i see the house sold at the house i said anyways. Lol. So i can see the audience and how many support the channels that cover it. Its a massive indicator. I do this aaaaallll the time. Basically for a living i analyze results and evaluate wins and losses and what the common factors are. Its a perspective thats difficult to see unless you’re in my shoes. So i understand why you think as you do.

Just because there’s little or no reactions to these dramas on YouTube doesn’t necessarily mean there’s no audience for it for reactions . Dramas like Lovely Runner have and show a clear growing interest and popularity as I have mentioned and put a link in my previous comment. In my opinion it would be be a waste not to do a reaction as it’s the second most popular drama and highest rated drama currently airing right now across all platforms/boards

Besides obviously Queen of Tears . Lovely Runner is most top rated and one of the most well reviewed drama currently airing right now. Upon premiere Lovely Runner ranked No. 1 in over 133 regions that Viki is made available including the US. Upon the first 2 episodes it had a rating of 9.8 and currently after 6 episodes it’s still at a 9.8 rating. On IMDB its rating is 9.0 . Since the drama has aired it’s been on a weekly ranking of most buzz worthy shows. This ranking measures the popularity of each drama by news, articles and other various social media platforms. So far consistently Lovely Runner has always managed going in the top ten. As for Lovely Runner, I see the high ratings, but I also see that the number of ratings is still pretty low right now since it's still airing, so I'm waiting to see how it will do as a whole before I watch it. I would rather watch your reaction to something already proven to be good right now. I want to see a reaction to 2521 the most, but there are also some other shows that people are recommending that look good :)

Personally haven't seen Lovely Runner yet but definitely planning to start soon. Haven't seen a show this highly rated and recommended in a while. Of course not knowing the show itself yet makes me want to root for a reaction to other show, which I already know and love, same as others. So will be crossing my fingers for Happiness, While You Were Sleeping, Castaway Diva, Tomorrow, Start-Up or The Good Bad Mother for now.

I can say it's very different from the drama you've been reacting lately. It has a less serious tone. It's more humorous, I can compare it more to strong woman do bong soon, than to queen of tears o CLOY. I think it would be good to watch you react to it just to take a breath from all the mental instability and stress this dramas are giving us ahaha.

Most of the KDramas I like received weird reviews but were great shows. Let the record reflect that the romance/comedy genre of KDrama is my least favorite. They often script the characters most annoyingly with the FL being obnoxious and the ML being overly rude or foolishly clueless. With this being said, Lovely Runner is on my top 5 weekly watch list. In my opinion, it's a really good watch. I love everything about this show. I'm just gaga over the female lead. Her raspy little voice mixed with her inner giant (looks 4'10 but acts like she is 6'2) is the cutest. The ML (villain from Strong Woman 2) is yummy and I thought he was an idol at some point in his career because he has a beautiful voice. The height difference between the ML and FL also makes for great chemistry. This show has a rating of 9.1/10 from 4,334 users on MyDramaList and a 9.8/10 from 10,795 viewers on Rakuten Viki. I haven't seen ratings this high in a long time and, in my opinion, the ratings are well deserved. Much like Twinkling Watermelon, the time-altering plot, supportive script, OST, and casting are on point. It's well-written and not repetitive like most time-altering storylines. The chemistry between the ML and FL is chemistrying. Even the 2nd male lead will sway you. The pacing is just right because we are currently waiting on episode 7 and I haven't once said to myself, "I wish they would just move on already." It might not be the most popular or recommended here, but I'm confident you guys would enjoy reacting to this show.

I don't know, maybe i was just not in the mood to watch a show like that at that moment or maybe it was too hyped but did not meet expectations right away. I was watching qot at the same time and maybe that also played a part, like, i wanted something as good as qot.

It breaks the barrier in a way many other shows cant. The best way to put it views wise is that it is not covered many channels, but for the channels that do cover it (nojaem no life, Nerdyverse, semz nerd) it is their BREAKOUT series and does better than even currently airing live actions like Fallout and 3 Body Problem. In short there is high demand but low supply and personally I'd watch it over a more 'chill' show like Lovely Runner

2024-04-27 03:18:49 +0000 UTCI personally didn't really LOVE lovely runner - it's a decent show with a pretty good story but maybe because I watched it alongside QOT it didn't feel as great (still would watch if you guys went with it). I personally feel you should go with one of the classics or something that came second in the previous QOT poll. If I had to make a recommendation it would be "What's wrong with Secretary Kim" --> it has the actress from Marry My Husband who I know y'all like and it's a fun show somewhat like the business proposal vibe.

Family/Coming of Age: Reply 1988 will never get old for k-drama fans. It has so many life lessons and, it was through that show that I realized so much about family. Historical: Definitely Under the Queen's Umbrella, the political tension and everything is really intriguing. Mr. Queen is also one that's really funny! Romance: Our Beloved Summer is one of my top pics of all time. It never got boring for me! True Beauty and 25-21 are teenage romance dramas. I know for sure True Beauty would pull in a lot of viewers!

I don't know much about parasyte, so can't say anything about it. But i would suggest you try out a timeless piece since you checked out a more recent one, queen of tears (what a masterpiece). Not sure if I should give recommendations since they'd probably overwhelm you more. Regardless, I would enjoy watching your reaction to Lovely Runner or any other kdrama.

I’m sorry to say I just don’t care for parasyte but a lot of people seem to like it so go with what’s popular. I just wish it was much better than it is but that’s just me. Lots of people are loving it so use your gut instinct and see the yt views etc do your magic.

I believe it covers some heavy and triggering social commentary. Would prefer one of the other shows that has been recommended over it at this juncture because I think I enjoy your reactions more when it's a show you are emotionally invested in over a show where you're just going through the motions but that's just my opinion. Hoping for another show with mature characters not set in high school to be frank completely honest. Actively avoiding high school casted characters.
