The story, characters and action get SO GOOD, that the ecchi shit becomes background noise similar to other anime like Kill La Kill: it's there because it's in the DNA of the series, but it's not the focus whatsoever anymore, ya know? I hope they blow their animation budget on some of the insane fight scenes that are coming up, because they deserve it

So when she sees Azure break and essentially offer to join her as a fan girl she sees it as a betrayal. Utena is at her happiest when the Magical girls are valiantly fighting back like the heros they are. She actually doesn't want to corrupt them. She wants them to be incorruptible.

Since the other Evil Girls were saying they’re out “hunting” magical girls, I think they killed those girls who they “hunt”. You hunt to kill. Not breakdown your hunt. So I think Director could be on to something when he said Utena is going to be on harmony with the magical girls once the other Evil Girls starts trying to kill “her” magical girls, and fight the evil organisation.

Example: Vegeta as a character works; his alignment doesn't change who he is. That's what made Baiser and Azure's interaction so potent.
