2023-06-26 02:17:47 +0000 UTCThe second anime we got this season with a real confession! First Nishikawa in Boku no Kokoro and now Yamada! We were fed so well this Spring! 😋 That being said I felt that seeing what the first thing Yamada thought when he saw Akane was a real eye opener and showed how much of a journey he actually took until he was able to say that he liked her and understand his feelings. I think if everything hadn't happened with glasses girl, he would not have been able to figure everything out and if Akane had confessed first he would not have been able to handle it. 🤔 I mean maybe I am thinking too hard about a simple rom com, but characters with this much development always get to my heart when they finally figure out what they want in the end. Much love to you guys for replaying that part of the confession too cause I did the same damn thing after I stopped tearing up. 🥰 Hope you guys keep going with the rom coms in the future, either new anime or old ones that you discovered cause there is a treasure trove to find and enjoy! 🤗

2023-06-26 01:46:45 +0000 UTCI think my two favorite parts of the finale are that Tsubaki says how she could tell he had subtly changed, and how momo says she knew they would get together because it was so obvious just from what Akane was always telling her that Yamada was into her. Idk it’s just super wholesome that both of them could pick up on it despite how stoic he comes off to the viewer most of the time. Hopefully we get a season 2, there’s definitely enough content, the anime only covered 41/95 chapters
