1:10 I enjoyed the manga and the anime, but that factor was a demerit for me. "Lovely Complex" had the same height difference, but the male character design didn't have such a baby face so I didn't get an age difference vibe.

I’m pretty sure everyone was just teasing at that choice of words because “naughty” has become almost exclusive to explicit nature whenever i see the word. And no my mother wouldn’t casually use Naughty so casually unless she thought i was being perverted about something. In my surroundings middle schoolers are quite advanced so the HS part i dunno what to do with. I do accept American kids are not like kids in Asia on these subjects. But either way. It’s just commentary in jest based on our own experiences

2023-06-12 06:08:10 +0000 UTCWhen the mom was talking in the car right after he broke his arm, the manga veered more along the lines that Ichikawa got more "daring" rather than "naughty." It was an odd way to translate it. Daring in the sense of going to the cliff's edge and even taking a selfie to send to Yamada later, when he's usually so meek/sheltered. We even kinda get a sense of that when Ichikawa's grandma said he looked more mature before they left.

God love it the title is so simple and straightforward. There is not but or ifs even if they are they get solved so easily. This is why the show is PEAK

2023-06-12 04:26:03 +0000 UTCI’m glad you all caught the Boyfriend test Moeko was giving Ichikawa when she invited him to go up “her house.” She’s one of the friends who’s still trying to protect Yamada. She saw what Ichikawa had done since episode 1, and since he’s not a creep, she doesn’t stop him from protecting Yamada in his own way. She’s also testing him in the restaurant. He showed that he’ll protect Yamada even in the face of pressure and bullying, thus she admitted openly that he is her friend. Someone who protects Yamada is her friend. So that last invitation was her way to test whether he passed the boyfriend test. Since everyone knows she’s kinda loose girl in class, her inviting him up means that she’s implying he can do something more with her. So if Ichikawa accepted the invitation, even if it’s not said, he failed the test and he proves to be not a boyfriend material for Yamada. Ichikawa passed this test exceptionally well. P.s.
