2023-06-12 16:02:12 +0000 UTCStudent 2 (the one w/ wavy hair) got spoiled on by the Japanese subs, as she was namedropped w/ the same name as Maru's big sis (who died from the dark spot illness thingie before the journey, and who gave Kiruko the gun, which looks like a barebones version of the Super Gun that the Academy was kitting their super soldiers (who are transported in suspended animation for some reason apparently) with. IDK if it lost some plating on the exterior over the decade+ timespan or what). Technically not a spoiler since the Japanese subs already stated the name. I also presume that Anzu is the mom of the hotel king, cuz they kinda have some similar-ish features, so I suppose Taka would be her dad then? They seem to be close at least based on what little we saw this episode after the "lesson"
