Korean names in general tend to be very similar or the same a lot more often than what you'd expect from 51 million (population of Korea) people with English names. This is because they mainly use three-syllable names. for example, Kim Ha Na or Shin Ha Ri would not be considered similar names by Koreans even though the "Ha" is the same. Let alone the fact that most of the population uses a handful of last names so even entirely the same names are common.

2023-05-16 02:33:58 +0000 UTChey hey hey! I'm not taking any grandma slander over here. She can't help it. She loves her grandson but she can't even recognize him when he's in front of her. That's why she threw the cake in his face talking bout he's a liar. I think his grandpa is also trying his best, having to be a caretaker to his wife and his grandson in his old age. I think Mun's not faking being happy but I do think there are certain things that make him sad. But I think any person would feel sad that a loved one can look at them and not even remember who they are. Or remember incorrectly. Also, I'm sure that he's upset because he gained a disability from the accident and can't do things he used to. But his grandpa and his friends care for him. He does well in school and he has other hobbies. I think that was the point of showing him hanging with his friends, to show that he was dealt an unfortunate circumstance but he has close friends, they are making a webtoon together and despite his disability, he goes out and walks around plazas and goes to eat food and stuff he's not sitting in a dark room being a shut in and hiding from the world. That's just my take though.

I like that in tone, this show is pretty solid. Black Knight’s tone is all over the place , couldn’t watch it, but I’m here for this!

ML is so pure and adorable; he must be protected always. And it’s very cool to see our Ha-ri completely flip on us and be a Bad A$$ in this drama. Love it, but I wonder why her last 2 dramas’ characters had such similar names. 🤔 Ha Ri and now Ha Na? Anyway, I’m invested now lol

All of my Korean or Korean-speaking female friends call me 언니 … cause I’m old (the oldest). You want to pronounce it AW-KNEE. With the first syllable sounding like the aw in awful or awkward. *** Side note: boys call older sisters/girl friends 누나 (noona) and older brothers/guy friends 형 (hyung). Like young but with a slightly breathy H. Girls call older brothers/close guy friends/boyfriends 오빠 (oppa).

Thats the one rallying/protesting about the radioactivity and the kid with cancer was his daughter/grandkid. But the corrupt police made it seem like it was suicide. This kdrama will gradually unfold things in each episode. ❤

2023-05-15 18:43:57 +0000 UTCOk, so going by what we saw: the man counter guy who was a detective was probably killed cause him and the main character dad were investigating that corporation we saw a few times, cause whatever they are doing it’s causing radioactivity and maybe the company ordered to kill them? And because the son (the main character) was a kid, and not working as a police or something, they let him live. Also, that man who “killed himself” had that picture with a kid that seemed to be his granddaughter? So probably the granddaughter died because of the radiation levels from that corporation. Or so I think, haha. I wonder how it will all connect with our main characters. Interesting episode.

Seriously, when I see people looking at the side for like 1 minute when they’re driving movies and tv shows? Hate it, lol.
