2023-04-30 23:31:37 +0000 UTCI feel that. I grew up spending half my childhood in the projects with my dad's family and they were heavy church goers. My uncle actually leads the church I grew up in now. Since leaving home, I've only gone back home for funerals, mostly. I remember when my great grandparents died and seeing my mom and grandma crying like crazy. It was the first time I saw one of my younger cousins crying like a baby that it really got to me and I found myself bawling at the atmosphere alone. Church is powerful, man. I just wish it wasn't corrupted at the same time.

Cant ever knock a person who humbles themselves in front of God and church is the one environment where its “cool to cry” haha. The most respected male leaders were the ones who cry during the worship or sermon haha. At least in Pentecostal churches for me
