2023-05-04 01:38:07 +0000 UTCfrom what i've learned about you, of the time i been watching your content is. i like how lively you are and bring up very interesting spectulations of what you watch. it just feels like im in the room with you having a fun time. and its good that you go against the grain/crowd because i didnt join you for a cookie cutter copy experience. i'm happy that you give input and joke around, and from what i've read on youtube and here there isnt anything wrong with liking feet and women because its who you are. thats almost like telling everyone to not have personality and be a blank slate, a blank slate personality is boring to watch which is why i was happy to find you when i was searching for reactors to see what they thought of the anime i've watched, and you give the living room sofa big tv experience which was important to me,so i say keep being you. and on the editing/audio/video side of things i dont see an issue in it, if anything i've noticed you've improved as time went on.

Here are just some of the reasons I cancelled (1) You never pay much attention and get distracted a lot. (2) You laugh at your own jokes and at things that aren't funny. (3) You obsess over feet and simp for the women . (4) In almost every other reaction you guys talk too much and miss some of what the subtitles say.

2023-04-23 14:23:46 +0000 UTCI think your biggest strengths are your ability to break down shows in the intro and post discussions, your passion (when you fucx with a character or scene you dial up the energy 1000%, even putting on wigs lol) that energy is infectious with the crew but also the audience, your ability to see things from different POV's not only the "MC`s", your engagement with the people (you're out here in these comment streets lol) and giving shoutouts and always keeping it positive, making jokes and getting the crew laughing and being respectful. Keep leaning into creating more characters/skits in reactions like Cap Lee and others too lol Where I think you can get better is leaning into the jokes and your takes, "say it with your chest - Kevin Hart" lol. I know you're just trying to not offend people but being vanilla (safe) by explaining your takes or downplaying something isn't the way to go in my eyes. Content wise I think you are making great choices as the producer of the YBRL show, anime is dope, but what is more important is that heat is heat, doesn’t matter if its anime, K-drama, American shows, other international shows or movies I like that you are well diversified. Also whenever possible try to keep one slot for the classics, most of the time the airing shows move the needle, but it's good to have those classics that made the genre, or people always talk about like Breaking Bad or Hajime no Ippo in the portfolio of archived shows y'all reacted to. The biggest thing is content. I feel like you streached yourself waaay to thin (I mean sure, covering a lot of stuff is great, but for the love of god who will look for D-class indian movies reactions?!), and/or got too seasonal. I guess from "get new people" perspective making (almost) only currently airing shows from 20 different categorys is a good thing, BUT when it happens that "the best that airs now" just suck, and you don't do old certified bangers cuz there is simply no slot for them suddently the category is in this wierd limbo...Consider next time when there is simply no good thing airing, go back and do something great from this category, I can promise it won't have worse resoults than covering a shitty currently airing show, and probably will have better, cuz you know...not many reactions to 30yo shows out there, and there is some audience for it. And yes I will keep bringing up 1997 version of Berserk untill you finally watch it, or some studio finally make a proper remake, cuz Berserk deserves some love, it is THE BEST manga story ever made after all. Oh and it's something all of you sometimes do, but I think you Lee do the most. When you have a joke/comment/whatever that might be slightly offensive...just say it! 99% of us will just laugh, cuz it's funny, and even if it's not we won't care! And yea, sure dancing around the topic like in ep 1 of Tomo adds it's own comedy, but too many funny/clever takes got lost in "ohhh I wanted to say what show just pointed out 5min ago, but was affraid"...and we will never know how many more never even got either "censured" or "late" mention, cuz you were affraid of being offensive. And yea, sure there aslo is Susan, and all-mighty anti-fun algorythm, but most times it would be fina anyway, and worst case scenario it will need to be cutted out for YT version... And for the love of God STOP SIMPING FOR EVERYTHING THAT HAVE FEET! IT'S WIERD . . . jkjk...I mean it is fucking wierd, but don't stop it's funny, and when every once in a while it gets too far and is just cringe...well tha's part of the charm too :P

Another example is House of the Dragon. Almost everyone was hating on Alicent, refused to see her POV, and wouldn't dare say a bad thing about Rhaenyra. You discussed the good and the bad of both sides and I appreciate that too.

2023-04-23 06:21:48 +0000 UTCI remember the first time I decided to subscribe to the Patreon it was because of the large variety of anime some that are old but very good and were rarely done elsewhere but it was not enough for me and when I saw the type of reaction well done with intro, outro good talk and the fact that with multiple brain watching you get some good theories. It felt real nice like the animators and the mangaka were appreciated for their work. Overlord was a really nice start long time ago for all of this and the funny commentary are just too good too. The only thing I don't like is sometime like for "Tomo is a girl " I wish Adorkable was there for that type of anime just like love is war. And... I have nothing more to say, I just enjoy the good balance between serious and funny overall. And I don't watch the Drama in reaction anyway I only watch anime with you guys so nothing to critic here.

I'd like to see you guys embrace that kind of content more as it seems we get to see the more 'real' you. And that's the key to a good reactor. Sometimes I can tell when you aren't feeling the content but are probably doing it 'cause it got good views on another channel.

I know it has to be a balance with the channel because of your time and you guys also have to make money but I find reactors all the time because they do older anime or shows that nobody else has watched and then I stay for the rest of their content, and I know it a lot of other people who do the same so my one thing is, don’t be afraid to check out some of the older top-tier shows cuz you’d be surprised how many people actually want to see them and a lot of amazing anime get left out. You guys do better when you throw the jokes out but still actually keep up with what is going on which is an issue that Roshi and them have some trouble with. Don't get me wrong tho I still like the roshi gang. Been supporting them for years now. So anyways the one thing I sort of wish you did better was tolerate and understand some of the more criticism type of comments. It partly goes hand in hand with me. I used to be more aggressive with comments and more critical but at the end of the day it was all love even though sometimes it was taken the wrong way. I just think you should try to be more understanding from where comments are coming from. If its just straight out hate like "you guys suck ass" than I definitely understand that its just straight hate but if someone has any sign of support or trying to be critical with some things I just think you should look at the more positive aspects of it and not be quite as talkative about the negative things when doing your videos. You spend time talking about comments too much when it comes to spoilers and some of the more negative stuff. I think you should mainly not give them the attention. I also think you should give better shoutouts to people who really actually help you out with the series you react to. You have done it before but I think you should use the time at the beginning of the videos to more so shoutout the people that help you guys out with understanding something or pointing out something you missed in your reaction instead of taking the time to point out the people that impact you negatively. So at the end of the day I just think you should be better at balancing out the comments and do better with what you talk about in your reactions about those said comments. If you shoutout the good comments that give good information (even if they may be a little aggressive or critical) those supporters may be more and more willing to stick with you and give you support.

Some niggas just wanna be different to be different with no substance behind it. For example: Your young justice season 1 episode 21 discussion after Megan transformed into black canary and kissed Conor 🤣 (shit was hilarious) You argued it wasn't bad based on martian culture which led to a discussion about immigrants and assimilation that i had never even considered and had never seen anyone else bring up even tho i watched and read tons of reactions and reviews for that episode. 2023-04-22 23:31:13 +0000 UTCIt's hard to criticize my favorite reactors lol, I don't know I love everything about yall. -Love when you bring in stuff from your heritage, adds a different perspective. -I enjoy how much you talk with your hands and express yourself with movement, like when you drop on your knees or stand up during a crazy scene, but obviously don't want you to start being selfconscious about it and try to do it more. -I enjoy your other content like the hot chip challenge. That was a great video. -I also like how self aware you are about how your team feels and how the audience may feel about the reaction, and you address it openly. -I know its been talked about, but a podcast would be great since you have to manage your time during reactions and can't always go on a tangent about some random topic, which I enjoy very much. -Only criticism would be I wish you did more props, but it does feel special whenever you do it, so not sure if doing more props would end up taking away that special feeling. Theres definitely other stuff but I aint tryna type a whole dissertation.

If I had to criticize you for anything, it would be that you sometimes interpret certain things too much from a western point of view and get riled up. Is that justified? Absolutely, there's nothing wrong with it. Sometimes, I think the author of the anime/manga intentionally puts in questionable things to push certain emotions to the viewers/readers. But sometimes, some of the nuances of the subtitles don't really translate very well, both into English and into the western cultural. I can't think of a specific instance for you and director right off the bat, but I'll give you one for some other reactors. For example, there's a scene in MHA in season 6 where Majestic compliments Momo and the subtitles say "I've got a good eye for women!" I've seen certain reactors go like "Ew, she's just a kid", as if there was some sexual nuance to it. The more accurate translation should have been something to the extent of "You're the woman I can count on" or "You're the woman I have high expectations for". As you can see, the translation and the nuance doesn't turn out very natural, which is why I assume certain translations turn out the way it does. Perhaps I just get a little frustrated when subtitles misinform the viewer and reactors get all politically correct about an anime at the most unexpected times. I'd say you're one of the reactors that has the least of these kinds of reactions and I love the passion you bring to the community. Thank you and I hope you continue to do what you do! P.S. I really enjoy it when you randomly wear cosplays of the anime you're reacting to.

I feel you do your best to give everyone a chance to talk and you treat each other and each other's ideas respectfully. I love the full reactions. It is so convenient because I am terrible at lining up my own footage with the timer on the reactors' video. As has been mentioned, I enjoy the conversations at the beginning of videos, but I also frequently skip them due to my own time constraints. I try to stick around to the end as often as I can though. I think you do a good range of shows. Not everything you react to is my cup of tea, but you definitely got me into multiple series so I could tag along. My only real issues are with the (for lack of a better term) UI. Getting to the current schedule and the archive takes too many steps, in my opinion, and a first timer needs to take a minute or two to actually find the links to begin with. Other than that, I am very happy with the service you are providing, and I look forward to sticking around.

I don't always agree with you, but at least I can understand where you're coming from. And then when you also explain counter-points it just lets me know you're also aware of other opinions, but you're still holding your own opinion. I feel like I really get to understand you as a person rather than just another reactor who watches anime. As a viewer I end up walking away with more appreciation for certain shows sometimes because you delved more deeply into the material.

Dislike commentary made for myself complete sense about them, they call themselves stupid and then behave wisely and then 5min later behave stupid as hell. In the end sometimes I just feel they are just tired and miss things as they try to do juggle too many shows.

In the original scene it’s extremely obvious that she was interrupted and when myself and a few others attempted to correct/remind you (respectfully, I’m sure maybe some others might not have been but I was), you came across kind of defensive saying it was your theory and asking us to chill. I understand when it’s an actual theory but in this case it was purely misremembering since it had been over a year Now obviously if you have an actual theory and manga readers etc are telling you you’re wrong that’s a completely different issue and you are 100% justified in asking them to stop Anyway again, all love ✌🏿
