2023-04-19 19:53:25 +0000 UTCFor shows that just barely started I have a few recommendations: The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure - a reincarnation iseki that so far is as fun and entertaining as Reincarnated as a Slime has ever been. The anime's title is much longer, but I think that I'll let you discover what it is for yourself. Summoned to Another World for a Second Time - a reincarnation iseki with a twist which I'll let you discover (though the title gives you a good hint.) A couple of episodes in and I already want to see where it goes next. I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too - this one is turning out to be pretty great, like if someone took Saving 80,000 Gold and the Fruit of Evolution and mashed them together into one tasty sandwich, and we're only up to episode 3. Rokudo's Bad Girls -watching all of these hardcore B's just melt around the main guy is rather fun, but I feel like the main draw is something that I think I'll let you discover for yourself. I don't think that I've seen anything quite like this and I'm ready for episode 3 and beyond. The next couple of recommendations will probably stretch the definition of "new" to the breaking point, but I think that they qualify for reasons that I will explain: Campfire cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill - the last episode of season 1 was released a week or so ago, but as we had just got through the first season I think that we're within the window. This iseki doesn't have the MC arrive OP, but his underestimated ability is pretty broken in that world and it snowballs in a rather hilarious manner. BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense - not actually an iseki as it deals with a game world that the players can come and go from at will, but since we don't really see the protagonist interacting with the real world pretty much at all after the first handful of episodes we might as well consider it an iseki, and we just aired the season 2 finale today and are surely going to be getting a season 3 so it's a good time to get into it. Now this girl IS OP, and she made herself this way. Honestly the title of the series says it all without giving up the plot, and seeing the way the developers of the game are actively afraid of her is absolutely hilarious! That's it for now. Perhaps when you open up to older series I'll bring to your attention the ones that you have been sleeping on for far too long, but in the meantime I'll be looking forward to what you put out next.

Though I understand that to be at the "waiting for new weekly episodes" step one currently has to watch the already out 14 episodes, which may be a large time commitment.

MY HOME HERO kinda got me interested as well because the trailer showed the MC killing abusive boyfriend of daughter. Sounds like an interesting concept. Altho it seemed like ISEKAI CHEAT SKILL has above average animation, The first 3 episodes so far felt like they were a self insert fanfic. Like it was written person by a side character who wishes they were the MC. Also i know you are not looking for old anime, but does a new season of an old anime count as "old" anime ? or does it count as "new" since its a new season? If it counts a new, then maybe BUNGOU STRAY DOGS would be nice since i've seen in the comments some people looking for anime that is not highschoolers or around that age. The 4th season has been aired last season, and a 5th season is confirmed for July. If not that's fine too.

You want every mc to be cool and handsome as fuck? It's mc like him that has difficulty adapting socially, which makes it interesting how he developed his characters because of fmc, and how fmc is affected because of him. And how they fall in love with each other being so differently is what makes this interesting.

Lee and the crew can't get around to every anime that comes out every season. Both shows you've listed are 2 of the lowest rated shows this entire season. Cheat Skill is the definitiion of a trash ass isekai. Insomniacs after School and Skip and Loafer are both fantastic shows so far and come from very highly rated manga.

One of the highest rated manga on Mangadex and won the Kobayashi Grand Prix award in 2023 Skip & Loafer – Slice of life. Nominated for the Kodansha best manga award in 2020, 2022, and 2023 Ancient Magus Bride S2 – Drama/magic. Nominated for manga taisho award in 2015 and voted best best manga by Japan’s bookstore employees in 2015 as well. So all are highly regarded and are good adaptations based on the first couple of episodes. Admittedly, none are genres which you typically react to.
