2023-02-24 11:43:25 +0000 UTCI really want to get the sauce on the pub girls this season because we've known since S-1 that there's some weirdness going on between Bell, Freia, and Mama Mia's girl's (namely Syr and Ryu). Syr is the only woman Freia allows Bell to have anything akin to a normal relationship with and even gives her the charm that saves Bell in the War Games. Freia even mentions at one point (I forget which season) that she's only cool with Hestia because she's a virgin goddess of love so she's no threat; that's why she murders Ishtar for even attempting to get with Bell but doesn't bother with Hestia. The real weirdness is with Syr. Syr is the only woman besides Hestia (who I guess is a perma virgin?) that Freia allows to have a non-professional relationship with Bell to the extent that Ryu even considers them to be engaged during the Pleasure Quarter Arc and goes out of her way to keep other women away from him. There's also the fact that Syr keeps giving him things from Freia on the DL like the grimoire and the protective charm both of which were HUGE for him. I'm guessing the reason Ryu wouldn't drink the water and engage in the indirect kiss is because she sees Bell as her besty's man and doesn't want to cross any lines? I knew the Xenos were gonna show up but I was hoping for Astorious since we know he's somewhere in the Deep Floors training.

Its popular enough to have a decent sized following but in terms of reactions and stuff it just isn't all that known. I don't doubt people didn't ask about it. Honestly the people on YouTube probably aren't those type of people to ask if you happen to miss a danmachi upload

Outside of the Familia: Tsubaki is Lvl 5, Ryu is Lvl 4, Aisha is Lvl 4, Ouka, Chigusa, Daphne and Cassandra are Lvl 2. The other three girls with Tsubaki the show hasn't told us yet

LOL End Discussion - I'm really, really happy that you guys are catching the little details how what Ryuu is saying out loud to Bell is not matching up with what she's thinking in her head. People change due to trumatic events, and they also change when they meet other people. You guys picked up a true picture of Ryuu's character this episode, which is really where Danmachi shines - the characters have a life of their own.
