Update - A short break

Hey all! You might have seen this already on Twitter or the Discord server, but I'm posting it everywhere just in case. Some of you know that I've been kicking around the idea of taking some time off. Since the start of the channel, I haven't really taken any time actually away from it - no matter where I've been or what I've been doing, I've had my mic with me. I've recorded audios in hotel closets while on the road; I've done Oread chats and Olympian calls from wherever I am.

I've enjoyed the work, of course, but for the past few months, I've started to feel seriously burned out. I decided I should probably take a REAL break - no calls or meetings or streams or script writing or work of any kind. I need to go offline, step back away from all of it for a bit, and reset myself.

So here's the plan: I'm going to take about 3 weeks off starting the weekend of April 23, which is next weekend. During that time, I'll be mostly off the grid. I won't be recording or uploading audios during the break, I won't be streaming, and I won't be posting on socials. I want to disconnect as much as possible for that 3 weeks. With any luck, I'll come back from the break refreshed and excited to get back to work.

I want to say thank you to all of you who pushed me to take this time and look after myself. I know we are super into self-care around here, and I need to practice what I preach. I also want to reassure you that none of the patron perks should be affected by this break - postcards will still go out in May (just a couple of weeks later than usual), Olympian calls and Oread chats will still happen, etc. I won't be letting anything fall by the wayside if I can help it.

When I get back, I plan to revamp the channel a bit, tweak the upload schedule, and make some other changes that I hope will help get everything back on track and growing. Thanks for being with me on this journey, and thanks for all your support and care. You all are amazing!
