Devlog Update - May 2025

Hi y’all (Adam here),

I wanted to take a moment to give y’all a bit of a personal update, especially since some of you may have noticed I’ve been quieter creatively and socially lately, and to provide some insight on what it means for our projects. Over the past several weeks, I dealt with the sudden decline of a family member’s health, followed ultimately by their passing. During that time, most of my normal life was completely upended - almost every day was spent at the hospital for the first bit and then funeral arrangements/family stuff after the fact. Blayke was incredibly supportive throughout the whole thing, and I am eternally grateful for that. To accommodate my absence, we shifted around a lot of our existing planned production schedule. Any project that required my input or assistance from a writing, technical, or art standpoint got delayed as I didn’t have the ability or bandwidth to work much given the circumstances. We’re still fully committed to delivering great content experiences, though, so to make up for it, we moved up the release of some of the short story content while Blayke has been hammering away behind the scenes on writing and set work for the other projects. He also respected my wishes not to reveal any of this while it was happening so that I could have some privacy, but also so that I could still participate in some of the normal Discord convos and things as a distraction without being reminded of my grief and stress.

As of this week, I’m getting back to working and looking forward to spending time with our characters again! I love this community more than you’ll ever know, and I appreciate the support as we work to get everything back on track as life returns to normal.
