Hollow Chapter 3: Devlog Update

Hey hey! As we're midway through October I think it's a great time to give you an update onto the progress for Hollow Chapter 3!

As you know already, for this update we've had to go back and redo Chapters 1 & 2 to accommodate for the new style change. So far, the feedback has been mainly positive so we're excited to continue down this path and see just how much more efficient production will be.

Chapters 1 & 2: 100% Remastered

Chapter 3 Breakdown: 

As you can see, quite a lot of the work has now been completed! The last batch of CG's are currently rendering and will be edited/coded into the game upon completion.

Sound & SFX doesn't tend to take me an awful amount of time so don't worry about the low percentage on that one.

Finally, we have one slight change to the lift animation you may have seen if you playtested the demo posted the other week. We wanted that moment to have a slow-mo feel, but doing it in post just doesn't look right. So we're going to add extra frames and basically do slow-mo in real time.

In conclusion: I expect to have a playable test demo ready sometime tomorrow. Myself and Adam will then be playing the game to make sure everything runs smoothly, iron out any bugs and note down any changes or additions that need to happen.

I'll then publish the release date once we know how much work remains after playtesting!
