Uncut AOT 3 x 19

Comments

StorieswithStyle, a German reactor, was amazing to watch during Grisha's flashback. He had a lot of insight on the parallels between Those outside the walls and, as he put it, "the star people being persecuted by the Austrian painter's people" (because he was reluctant to say Jew and Nazi on youtube). Also he's the only person in history to remember every character's name after only one or two mentions because of all the German names. :')

I'm so glad you're conditioned to wait for "To be continued" at this stage. Missing that post-credit section isn't legal.

Driahva

Of course!! Well at least this weekend should be a double bill of AOT so that's exciting for everyone! Death Note finishes up tomorrow as I'm combining the final 2 episodes. I haven't filming Frieren yet from where I left off so Saturday will be 3 x 20 and Sunday 3 x 21!

Sophie Anders

Completely understand haha just wanted to express how excited I am to see your next reactions!

AK

"final solution" is a wild phrase to use when we're talking about similarities to Nazi Germany...

draeonic ๐Ÿชผ

Or those we lost

draeonic ๐Ÿชผ

"all other creators provide clear footage" um no, most of them don't

draeonic ๐Ÿชผ

There was also a lot of other hints of the outside civilization other than the coffee, especially from the Beast Titan, he made a lot of baseball references like a "perfect game", his "pitch", and his perfect shot-put form. Things that don't really exist within the walls. Also, when Ymir reference the huge monkey Titan in season 2, Eren was like "Monkey? What's that?" so I don't think monkeys exist within the walls either.

Terry C

sawano is the guy on the piano, but there is another person playing on a midi keybaord, that is yamamoto

R3

The world expands and the journey continues ^^ Did you notice the music that played for the Grisha and Faye scene was on that we already knew but with different instruments, giving it a very different sound? Great reaction as always!

Lemon

The person at keyboards, the entire "concert", in the white shirt, is Sawano, not Yamamoto. Check out ictures of Sawano ;) Both are great, Sawano is a legend ^^

Lemon

I wish I could post more but balancing this with work is kicking my arse ๐Ÿ˜ญโค๏ธ

Sophie Anders

I've already explained why I'm doing it. People have had their patreons suspended for less. It's already risky enough doing uncut content. Keeping my patreon account safe is my priority ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ It's also not blurry. You can very clearly see what's happening.

Sophie Anders

The basement is an example of the destination is less meaningful than the arduous journey taken to arrive there. Like when you think back on high school you don't necessarily remember graduation day but all the big moments you had during the school years.

Raul Iggynashow

What is your list of 10 favorite shows of all time and what number does AOT fall under?

Raul Iggynashow

can you give us full reaction without blurry, you can do it in Patreon without any issues, it's not YouTube. all other creators provides clear footage , biggest reaction content creator yaboyroshi also gives footage

Dark Knight

It really does!! The only saving grace was that brief insight into Grisha's past!!

Sophie Anders

That also works too. When I think walls I think more the checkpoint that separated people on a significantly larger scale, but on further thinking it does seem more like a Ghetto ๐Ÿ˜Š

Sophie Anders

I'm so glad you got to watch 3x20 after this. All of those recollections are very beautiful on rewatch, but on first watch this feels like such a troll episode, lol

Krul

+++ this title is MUST!

Zarayut Ziri

me too, the melody is beautiful, i always sing along T_T, but my No.1 ed is akuma no ko, this is second.

Zarayut Ziri

I watched it 10 times and I'm still getting goose bumps and feel excitement deep in my heart when we come to the basement. Even though the truth revealed was not the something I was hoping for. About the "Grisha's wall" and armbands - for me it is much more similar to Jewish ghettos from WW2 times, than to The Berlin Wall.

ลukasz

the ending song hitting me so hard as soon as it started playing and showing all the memories of the scouts all being together ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”

Gina Queen

This is where the show begins ๐Ÿ‘€

shintesu shini

Our Sophie is the best! I adore her! She is so smart and beautiful, it is a real joy that I can watch her reactions! ๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿฉท

Super Nenechi

This is definitely a must watch for all AOT fans.

Super Nenechi

Saturday is so far away! ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Super Nenechi

God, it's so hard to wait for new reactions to come out ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚. If they were all available to watch, I'd watch them in one sitting.

Super Nenechi

You're so close to so many answers... which will soon be replaced by just as many questions.

Critical

At least at the end of the series if not now. I really want to see sophies reaction to this.

SoL

Thank you for your reaction! I am so happy to see you discovering the basement

Eleonora Frizorger

Congrats on making it to the basement. The ride's far from over :)

hman70

Eleonora Frizorger

Is there a "Patreon Plus" I can pay for to see the next reaction now??? ๐Ÿ˜ญ Thank you for a brilliant, analytical, and genuine reaction as always! โค๏ธ

AK

Isayama is such a troll. We got an entire episode titled "the basement" which didn't actually show us what we wanted to know, it literally just showed -The Basement- after a lot of very drawn out stalling. On rewatch the return to Shiganshina scenes are definitely more enjoyable and sad than they were on the first watch where like you we were all chanting "Just get to the basement already!"

Anna Kyruin

Hiroyuki Sawano the legendary composer, we can see Yamamoto at the keyboard as well, before he became a composer in S4.

ML Snow

Words can't describe my happiness when Sophie made the link to our own history. She is the right person for this :p

EDC

What if the real basement is just the friends we made along the way

JenniHongyu

At this point we were all impatient for them to get to the basement, but I love the montage, it puts us in the place and through everything we went through in the series, and shows us how Eren and Mikasa feel coming back, also excellent ost, which also plays when they escaped from Shinganshina at the beginning. Some trivia since you mentioned the resemblance to germany. The design of the city architecture in the series is based on โ€œNรถrdlingenโ€ - Germany, if you look it up you will literally see Shinganshina, many names in the series are also German, but the language they use in writing is Japanese katakana turned upside down and messily written to make it difficult to read, but with effort it can be translated straight to Japanese, they have already deciphered quite a few things. It is very interesting.

ML Snow

Literally smiling as I type this in excitement and anticipation for you to experience the rest of the story from here on!

Russell Gambardella

its going to be rough waiting until saturday for the next episode

GMP Chemist

Very excited to see what you think of everything once you get more of the context behind it all

Jakob Eslinger

Ah yes, armbands. The story didn't have enough layers and darkness yet. There was only some sprinklings of death, betrayal, oppression, ... It clearly needed some more historical, political and moralistic depth. A few more pieces and you can lay the puzzle of this world, but can we find a final solution for the conflict?

Wouter

You really should check out the Attack on Titan OST Studio Version, there's no spoilers (you already heard all the songs and there is no animated video). It soooo good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6Fl1Xl1ogg

R3

I love your compassion towards Bertholdt and Reiner. You aren't alone, 90% of the fanbase forgives them and understands their perspective in all of this.

EDC

This episode and onwards is where the show gets to another level, I'm so glad we are at the basement reveal!! I'm so looking forward to seeing your reactions and theories to come :p this episode is genuinely incredible, I love the suspense that builds up all for that huge bombshell at the end

EDC

Ahhh the start of so many possible new theories!

Dagmar Makara
