Patreon Exclusive For 4 Weeks

Oh my goodness!

Hello Patreon family! I didn't expect anyone to really be that interested in supporting on Patreon but here we are!

As a thank you - I'm going to be doing a Patreon Exclusive Series. Each episode will be exclusive to Patreon for 4 weeks from the date posted before moving to YouTube. So, for example, if Episode 1 gets posted on the 15th November it wouldn't be on YouTube until the 13th December etc.

I know some of these are long but that's okay! Just means more exclusive Patreon content for you guys!

AW YOU CUTIE!! Oh that's a handy website if I do start reacting. Means I can watch the filler in my own time without reacting and uploading it to YouTube! 45% filler?! Sheesh that's insane!!

Sophie Anders

Thank you! <3 Yay! That's so good to hear. No pressure. It's great to know that you are even interested :) One Piece does have 'some' filler but it's not actually too bad. It has a few filler arcs but they are very sparse in the broader scope of the story, they don't come along too often. Comparatively speaking, other long running series like Naruto or Bleach. (Both of which I also adore) have way more filler. I think Bleach is the worst at around 45% filler is crazy... I think mathematically OP comes out roughly at about 9% which is very low. Here is a comprehensive look at the fillers here if you want to check it out ------ https://www.animefillerlist.com/shows/one-piece Anyway I would certainly encourage more delving into One Piece and how amazing it is! :D I love your content anyway so I'll watch no matter what you react to teehee

WELCOME!! I definitely do want to watch One Piece at some point. I've heard really good things about the show but I've also heard there's a lot of filler episodes that aren't really required for the main story?

Sophie Anders

Hello! New Patreon here :) Please please consider watching One Piece. As a student of literature I think you would find it fascinating. It is amazingly well written, is so deep and more complex and nuanced than people give it credit for. The cartoonish art style just adds to the whimsy of it all to add up to an epic adventure series that's about humanity, freedom and dreams. I am a 36 year old woman who has been a One Piece fan for 12 years now and I would definitely recommend it! I would also say please, please don't make the high episode count be a pejorative decision making reason for not watching it. It's worth it. It changed my life. And as a person who also love to analyze literature it's really just the best series of all time in my humble opinion.

Moogle

I'll add it to the list for sure!!

Sophie Anders

I didn't know that (I watched the show late). That's a great idea and it would make for a great video!

I think you would love a show called Jujutsu Kaisen. You should watch Frieren first since it will give a nice change of pace from the drama and intensity of AOT/DN. But in the future, I would love to see JJK in a poll :) It is intense, though, like emotionally draining; tears will be shed, lol. And Thanks for the drops today!!!!!!

Jordan

By the way, other people may have already mentioned this to you, but the first four episodes of Frieren where released at the same time and can be seen as a little prologue to the story. So, if you have the time, it would be nice if you could watch them together. It really helps in setting the tone for the show.

Krul

Smart! Would be nice to have something more cutesy!

Sophie Anders

For me, AOT, Death Note and FMAB are the 3 anime classics, but watching the 3 of them at the same time may be too much, specially since AOT and FMAB share similar themes. So I would recommend watching Frieren first. It is also a much more lighthearted and cute story, so It should help in balancing out the intensity of AOT.

Krul

Well I think Frieren it's going to be as it's leading!

Sophie Anders

Frieren would be wonderful. From what I've seen so far of your reactions, I think you'd really appreciate it. It had a fantastic first season, though I think the first two thirds were much stronger than the last (still good, though!). Fullmetal Alchemist is also very good despite some quibbles I have against it.
