Last Night: Snacking at the Night Market

Since it’s still the king’s birthday celebration, the people of Brunei are continuing the festivities until September. Before heading back to the hotel, I wanted to do some snacking here. The night market is located right around the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque — the same mosque I visited on the first day.

Before entering the night market, I was asked to take a photo at this building called Gravity. Apparently, it used to be an office building but is no longer in use, so the side of the building was painted. It looks really pretty, doesn’t it!

After that, I enjoyed the sunset for a little while.
Just like any night market, it was lively with music and people all around.

After wandering around, I decided to buy a portion of Ayam Mail for 5 Brunei dollars around (0.31 USD).

After this, we headed straight home since my friend needed to get ready for work the next morning. I’m really grateful that he took the time to show me around Bandar Seri Begawan.
