GT had great ideas like the shadow dragons and Tsufuru-jin but the execution without a source material was poor. As of right now I'd say it's on par with gt at this point

2025-01-22 03:41:20 +0000 UTCI fw GT heavy but I respect this show because I like the vision toriyama was going for, putting all concepts of his 3 series into one, with DB being a key element to that. Everyone has their own opinion on these things but the constant online comparisons of Toriyama’s final work to one he didn’t even write is sorta a middle finger to him especially with the timing of it all. Filler moments of this show I can understand, but the shell of the story that is all Toriyama is pretty solid for a short series. The studio should have just stayed true to that.
