They should do the memorial edition after this and skip the 2016/2017 version. I believe that will leave an awful taste in their mouths. They have dropped anime before because of bad animation. Seven Deadly Sins comes to mind. They should leave Berserk on a high note, Wellz can continue reading the manga, and then return once a proper adaptation comes. Might never happen but I am ok with that.

Berserk 1997 which you are watching rn and is considered the best adaptation besides the manga. 2. 2013 Berserk 3 part movie that covers this arc as well with added material and missing material 3. 2016/2017 anime which covers arcs after the golden age arc but is considered terrible among the majority fanbase but its more Berserk content at the end of the day🤷🏽♂️
