28:46 Bruh!🀣🀣🀣 I LOVED this finale. Joel McHale "Jeff Winger" has a show on FOX called, Animal Control. It's pretty funny & starting their 3rd season in January.

Rob be the main one always talking about how they gotta respect Black Women, then when it comes time to actually try and understand Syd, he the first one to throw her under the bus, hypocrisy at it's finest. It doesn't take a genius to understand why Syd would not feel comfortable working with Carmy anymore, literally these whole 3 seasons have given us a whole breakdown as to why, and even if she were to decide to leave, she's not just up and leaving like they are making it seem, she would still work with them and subtly ease out of the business, like when you put in your two weeks at your job. Honestly Carmy is also stupid for not noticing that her not signing the agreement right away meant that she had reservations and should have been talked to her about it. Also we literally saw Marcus try and ask Syd out and her reject him, she does not like him that way and they are not getting together, in this one thing Rob is actually correct. Also the whole point of Carmy confronting that Chef was to show us that you can't rely on your abuser for closure, sometimes you have to find closure and peace on your own and for yourself, it's not supposed to be some grand revelation where Carmy actually becomes grateful to that man. Nothing Jeff did helped Carmy, it actively made him worse and now (at least I hope so) Carmy knows that he has to put the work in himself and seek help for his mental issues to make sure he doesn't create the same environment because he actually loves the people he works with.

The chef at the beginning of the episode teaching Carm how to truss chickens was Thomas Keller, the owner and executive chef of The French Laundry in Napa, CA. That scene was filmed inside the actual kitchen of his restaurant. He also owns another three Michelin star restaurant in New York City called Per Se. He's widely considered one of the best chefs in the world. Nearly all of the guest stars in this episode were real chefs and people from the culinary world playing themselves. Marcus' character is based on Malcolm Livingston II, the pastry chef who told the story about getting a haircut during service. Olivia Colman (Chef Terry) is not a real chef, she's an actress, been in a bunch of movies and shows and won a few awards. The owner of Milk Bar is Christina Tosi, the lady who was talking about making cornbread flavored ice cream early in the episode.
