Im not sure if this is mentioned but the “golden dots” on the space marines forehead each one represents 100 years of service for the Imperium

2024-12-18 00:43:42 +0000 UTCThe sound of the show is really weird. It’s like there is too much base and not enough of anything else. Did something go wrong? Because it doesn’t sound like it did when I watched it in person.

2024-12-13 10:36:06 +0000 UTCFor Context, Warhammer 40K is sci fi but Warhammer also has a fantasy setting with Dwarves and more fantasy creatures. 40K mainly has Elves and Tyranids (xenomorphs).

2024-12-13 04:51:52 +0000 UTCFun Fact, the guy who did Astartes by himself actually worked for Blur Studios (the animation Studio for Love/Deatch/Robots and Secret Level) and I have no doubt he had a hand in this episode, you can see so much of Astartes in this

2024-12-12 23:55:43 +0000 UTCAbsolutely loved how much you guys enjoyed watching this and how curious you guys were. Firstly, Warhammer 40K has been a franchise since 1987, so it’s actually what likely inspired every similarity you saw (Gears of War and such). The chaos cultists who charged the marines did in fact know who they were, but their fanatical loyalty and fear towards their gods (in this case Tzeentch) is greater than their fear of the “angels of death” space marines. Plus, no matter how genetically modified and trained Marines are, they can still be killed by even the weakest of human in the right scenario (which you can see with how most of them hid from the Gatling Cannon aside from Titus who charged it). Henry Cavill is unlikely to play Titus in the upcoming Amazon series. This TV series was made for the people who play the games (which is why they just throw you into the story in every one). For the first Warhammer show, I think that they are unlikely to just throw people into the year 40k. Instead I think it’s more likely that the show will be set in the year 30k, during the great crusade or before the Horus heresy because it’d much easier for people to understand (and it catches them up on the important events before 40k). However, I could be wrong. Lastly, if you think these visuals were awesome. Watch the Horus Heresy trailer on YouTube, as it showcases some of the bigger types of conflicts that can be found in Warhammer. A cool fact, is that in this episode you can see a giant claw buried in the ground just before the marines confront the cultists. That claw is likely torn from a Warlord Titan, which are absolutely massive war machines than can range from being 50 feet to 196 feet tall (though a few have have even reached close to 500 feet tall). You can see them in the Horus heresy trailer.

2024-12-12 22:13:24 +0000 UTCYeah it’s the Big E lmao, on a serious note it’s likely Titus imagining it since the emperor only speaks to his custodies in dreams, and guilliman.

2024-12-12 22:05:34 +0000 UTCHes also watched over by the Emperor, at the end of space marine 2 . . . . . . . . . . The voice that you hear at the end to bring back Titus "Rise son of Giliman" That wasnt Calgar, That was the Emperor.

2024-12-12 20:18:19 +0000 UTCTitus can't be a blank due to it being extremely obvious if he was. Titus is just a rare case where he believes in the Emperor so much he can't be corrupted.

2024-12-12 18:43:19 +0000 UTCLETS GOOO! 40k is so sick, when they slid down the gravity changed and titus is likely a psychic null which is how he resisted the sorcerer. The choas lord (sorcerer-human corrupted by the warp) was killing them by using time magic and corrupting their souls. The statue they were destroying was a statue of a lord of change and the man inside the box was an astropath (a psyker) and was he was defending them against the demonic energy from the statue.
