2024-12-25 12:39:26 +0000 UTChell nah. The musical score and voice acting alone is worth it. Plus, Wellz already said they are watching the movies. I don't know about the memorial edition, that would be nicer though. Anyways, this is still the preferred way to introduce the gang to Berserk.

The manga has some more details that the anime missed and depictions are even more grotesque. In terms of art work of the manga, there are only a small handful of manga artists that can compete with Miura.

I heard about the hype and even watched the golden age films (which are good imo) but watching this adaption, this story just has so many layers. R.I.P Miura. Guts is slowly rising up my list of favorite MC’s. The more the show delves into his motivation and thoughts, the more complex of a character he becomes.

Also the moment she says “I won’t leave you” isn’t trying to imply that she’ll stay back and fight but rather that she wants Guts to retreat with her, that’s why Guts told her it’s not like me to retreat from a battle.
