Also that show is REAL stories and they even get the real soldiers to tell it. Jon Bernthal is also in it Also Rob it is realistic for soldiers to spare the lives of their enemy. There has been countless stories in WW2 and WW1 of soldiers showing mercy to the other side.

We literally have an instinct in us not to take another persons life that is why it is so difficult for so many people to do so. There are people that can do it with no remorse but that means you internally have something messed up with you in the head. Also people can become cold like this but even then it is more like a switch they have to flip on and off which can also through time just get blurry and you lose a part of yourself. It isn’t something that is just natural for everyone so I can’t stand when people clown or complain about people not even thinking realistically how they would be in the people’s shoes. Dope reaction though either way and no hate on nobody here they just gotta show a bit of empathy to things like this sometimes cause it can reflect your mindset in real day to day life when you don’t try and think of other’s perspectives.

You seen hacksaw ridge, he could not put a single bullet in someone. He’s just a kid who was once a clerk for only 8 weeks, he’s never seen a dead body, he’s never dealt with having to kill people. This is his like his first day ever being on the battle field. So rob no you wouldn’t be quick to adapt. No one would even if you saw your people die. Maybe you could adapt quick but that just shows your sick in the head being able to have the balls to kill someone even if their a kid before they shoot at you
