Wind Breaker has been my hyperfixation show for a hot minute and it reminds me in a way of Haikyuu, specifically how they deal with the characters and the themes of friendship/bonds and the exploration & improvement of the self. Really great stuff if you allow yourself to think about everything beyond just the surface.

Wellz' prediction definitely did have merit. Togame probably would have won that fight if they were serious the whole way through. It would have been extremely close, but it'd probably be a battle of endurance in the end, which Togame would have won. Sakura's fighting is fast, fluid and extremely adaptable which makes him a very powerful fighter. He's the kind that improves as he goes, which makes for a very dangerous and persistent opponent. He would probably go until his body physically gave out. Togame on the other hand has a simpler style, opting for grappling & fewer yet stronger hits. He's a bigger opponent too and slightly older (Togame & Choji are both 17) so he probably has more experience and higher endurance. But he threw the fight because he knew that's what he had to do to help Choji and pay back his own debts. It was sort of an apology for all the trouble and in a way a sign of respect for Sakura, because even if Togame could physically beat him, he saw Sakura as a better person than him. Sakura was everything Togame should have been in that moment with Choji. So he let himself lose, and left the matter of Choji to Umemiya so they could hopefully start all over again, together.
