2024-05-19 23:15:25 +0000 UTCAyo, after the Pixar trip is done, gotta show more DreamWorks love. Road to El Dorado is my favorite DreamWorks movie, maybe even cartoon movies in general. The Prince of Egypt is THAT movie for real, and might even do surprising numbers (another channel did it recently to 100k+ views). Also, Anastasia was too much for a kids movie (literally about Russian war) but is actually one of the most sophisticated and beautiful looking movies ever drawn. But yo... Fuck that. Hear me out... Hear me out... All dogs go to Heaven, 1 AND 2, are CLASSICS of all classics. 2 completely different movies that hit with their own timeless style. Also, just a shout out, BALTO was also my shit!

I think something that is undermined about her is that out of the core 4 she’s the only one with 2 powers, because we see she’s mastered the invisibility with her being able to make her whole body and individual parts go invisible. With the shield she never had any practice uses for it and the parents don’t want them to use their powers, I like that she’s unable to use the shield initially but as the movie goes on it takes her virtually no time to get a hold on it.
