Jupiter was powered by Phantom just like how Abyss Break was powered by the Elemental Four. Lacus had to charge the Lacrima with lightning Magic. Jupiter didn’t need any one to supply it with magic power and fired automatically. Lacrima are literally magic crystals. There is magic in them to begin with.
