Hello! In this post I would like to share my workprocess and thoughts. I've decided to use the dancers of the temple of Aphrodite as an example of my work, since it's one of my favourites.

Firstly, I use AI to generate the linework. I always generate many alternatives and then go through them all and choose my favourites. I chose these three in particular because of the similarity in poses and I thought I could create some symmetry in the final product.

I then color the sprites using photoshop and AI while also creating the background using AI. I decided to tilt the sprites and background slightly to give the image some more spice. I sharpen the lines and improve the sprites. I always spend extra time on improving the faces and especially the eyes. For me the face is always the most important thing and it's what your eyes naturally gravitate towards. I also took special care in improving the hands. The hand poses is what really sells the image in my opinion and gives the image that nice symmetry.

After, I do some post-editing in photoshop. Slightly improving the contrast and adding some texture. Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see more of these blog posts!
