Wait I just thought of a theory for se gyeon's actions. So rn she is finding her mom's first love. She thinks that if her mom end up with her first love she wouldn't be born. So she will make her mom(her face?) fall in love with her first love and when she goes back to the present time she wouldn't be alive since the future has changed. I think that is it.
