Human on Anthro for next comic?

In my world/universe that Catching Up takes place in. Humans and anthros coexist with each other. I was pondering about a Human/Anthro trope for the next comic in this universe titled "Study Buddy" which is going to be at least 20 pages long for the first part (If I do chapters that is haha)

Problem is, I don't see many people doing this type of story unless it's like ... idk werewolves or whatever, but I am not doing that.

I suppose what I am asking is, do you all think having a human on anthro comic would be too weird? Please let me know below~

Damn. That is definitely a lot to consider. Huh.. I will likely go with it. (The main reason I want to do this anyhow is to improve my artwork with drawing humans haha)

It's not our place to tell you what to do, so maybe we could rephrase the question as "What are the pros/cons/risks of doing it?" Pros: It's something new and you could have a lot of fun with it. Who is the human does he have any "stereotypical" personailty traits like some other species do? (like foxes having a hard time holding on to soap in the gym showers, etc) Is he smarter than the other animals? Clueless? (eg thinks meat comes from styrofoam trays at the supermarket) Wierdly ill at ease being hairless and in a state of nature? (eg addicted to all his inventions as coping mechanisms for being so physically weak/awkward.) Cons: It breaks the 4th wall and potentially brings 'real world' baggage into you fantasy alternate/universe. (politics, environmentalism, etc) It seems like it might kind of force my hand. I feel like I'm supposed to identify with the human, but what if I resonate with another character or the human reminds me of my a-hole boss? :-) Risks: Your readers all think they are experts on humans.... they may have conflicting expectations that are impossible to fill with just one character. (Some humans may even be ill-mannered enough to become critical when you don't read their minds accurately enough) How does that universe work? Is it full of humans or just one? Do humans and animals get along? It gets complicated fast. (Note: "In Our Shadow", on e621, deals with a lot of human/animal political issues and introduces a human character in "In Our Shadow 2". It's an interesting story but more about power, politics and fighting than love and romance.) I'm not saying you have to address those issues. Just that they tend to come up, whenever humans get involved. That being said, what the hell? Give it a shot and see how it goes. If you don't like it, you can always "Kill it with fire!" later. :-) People who are afraid of failure never accomplish anything.

Art shouldn't be held back by anything. This is your project/story: I don't have the right to tell you how to tell it. That said, since it's fiction, it's all good with me. ^_^
