Early Access - Change Camera Controls based on Your Control Scheme
Added 2023-11-07 14:00:08 +0000 UTCThis is a pretty common setup, especially for top-down games: If you're using the mouse you want the camera to average betwween the mouse and the player, and if you're using the gamepad you just want the camera to center on the player.
This video will show you EXACTLY how to do that, and we won't stop until it's feeling nice and polished and smooth :)
I'll also share a few tricks I picked up while researching/experimenting for this video that solved some headaches I've had in the past with this kind of setup.
