Slightly Above Average Behind the Scenes

Here's a new segment that you guys will get monthly due to the new influx of massive donations. It's not much, but I'm sure some of you may enjoy this. Every month I'll post early concept and design work I did for Slightly Above average and you can see how different things were or how similar they remained!

Starting is Laila, who was the first chracter I designed for SAA. She used to have a ponytail like Keiko. Next were some sketches right after I altered the art style a bit. If you recall no one had noses back during the early days of the comic, but I didn't like the aesthetic after a few chapters and changed it. The other design pics of Laila are from when I was redesigning these characters with that in mind.

The other pic is the earliest pic of Officer Suguri, who was originally the main character before I decided I wanted a teen to be the Main character. Also, some early design stuff for Keiko, and Katrina is there!

I can't currently find the first Keiko pic, but as soon as I do I'll post it as well! Expect more next month~
