But still I have lore for it...
This being is known as a Sk?ítek, krat, or by some as a House Gremlin. These ugly household creatures are fey or fairy folk who are summoned fourth by spellcasters to aid in trivial matters and are fed scraps. They keep hidden so as to not arouse panic, but often times enjoy causing bits of mischief and trouble to nearby locations or to insight terror in nightly travelers by growling at them from the dark or climbing on rooftops.
If treated well through the ritual, they are helpful creatures that aid in mundane tasks and do little else, however if wronged even slightly they will become violent and cruel and will bring darkness upon the caster who summoned it as well as direct friends and family.
When not bound as a familiar to a caster, they wander in woodland areas and plains in small groups, hunting for small creatures to consume and scrambling up trees or in underground locations where they hide from travelers. In large enough groups, they can become emboldened and may attack travelers, biting into them with their grinding teeth and gripping them with their deadly claws.
Though not particularly powerful, they are known to cause mental episodes within a creature who sees their jittery, idol movement as they shake and vibrate in place, and their laugh can cause alarm, causing a creature to flee and become lost. They have a knack for getting into one's home, and if the creature is it's target it may accost the creature at night with it's jittering movements and quiet laugh.
