Oh, the Gumi version is the original by the way. (Joking, I watched to the end, I promise)
But yeah, my first hearing of this song was actually a cover from Haachama (Akai Haato) of Hololive, and this was actually the song that dragged me back into the Vocaloid rabbithole for a while afterwards. It still holds a special place in my heart and so I was quite excited upon seeing your (re)reaction to it. Funnily enough, my playlist on shuffle played the song on the car ride home from work earlier today, the world works in weird coincidences.
This isn't really a reaction suggestion, more of just an ADHD driven tangent story, as I do not know how overall interest for it is, but I was really into a partially vocaloid project from way back in the day known as the "Kagerou Project" or KagePro for short. There is a collection of vocaloid songs that are part of the multimedia project that tell a story, and I was extremely obsessed with it in my early high school days, I think I even had a journal where I had written down all the song lyrics, made notes on them, and sorted them into chronological order.
If you ever have interest, even outside of reactions, I think the songs themselves are an isolated part of the story that is enhanced by the light novels, manga, and anime, but doesn't need them to make sense? Anyways, sorry for the rambling.
I also had a question, would you prefer I comment on youtube videos over commenting here on patreon? I realized that commenting here doesn't actually do anything to boost the algorithm, and has a smaller pool of people to interact with who can corroborate or correct my information, so I think I will start doing youtube comments instead for my future comments.
Sorry for my rambling, and great video! (If I missed anything, or repeated anything I apologize, I have the memory and attention span of a goldfish.)
