SEPTEMBER ART CHALLENGE

Mandatory "What is an art challenge?":  Art challenges are a casual way for everyone to get involved in doing something creative, with no pressure or need to do a perfect job. It's not a contest or competition- everyone is welcome and all patrons receive the same rewards. Furthermore, it's not just open to artists, but to writers, video editors, sculptors or anyone with two hands and a creative thought in mind.

All the best things happen in September, like the arrival of autumn, ridiculous wardrobe choices and the magical moment in which one Ony was allegedly ejected out into the world with such projectile speed that it is said the crater still smokes somewhere in the Louisiana bayous.

And thus, we have our pick of themes:

Theme A: Autumn

Theme B: Wardrobe malfunction

Theme C: Ony

This time, you may either pick a single option or- if you really want to flex your ingenuity- all of them. Like a turducken with a capital D.

Notes on theme C: I added this theme as there seemed to be a general interest in it last time I checked. Should you kindly souls pick this option, you may find references of my characters in this folder: http://bit.ly/ony-refs 

That said, you're also welcome to find me and take your own screenshots/photobombs. My FFXIV character goes by the name "Onyrica Al'erye" and usually lurks in Uldah, Balmung. My WoW character "Vyanthe" lives in Stormwind, Moonguard. If for any reason you'd like me to relocate or have any questions, just shoot me a /tell or DM.

So how do I participate?

This challenge is open to ALL SKILLS and MEDIA: drawing, writing, photobashing, sculpting, photography, composition, singing, etc...

Screenshots will be valid with conditions I will post in the comments below. Points will only be awarded if these conditions are met.

The usual rules apply, such as:

• The work must be created specifically for the challenge
• It must be obvious that enough time and effort was put into the entry
• Along with your entry, you must explain your reasoning in applying the theme to your piece

Where do I post my WIPs (Discord/Patreon supporters only)?

If you're in the Discord: You may post the WIPs of your work in #art-talk just to share and #art-feedback for critique. Once the image is complete, please post it in #art-challenge.

If you're not in the Discord: you can post them to the comments or DM me here on Patreon.
