Ony goes Full Time Art Mom!

It’s September 1st my guys and that means I’m all yours! (I lost the receipt so you can't return me~)

I can’t believe August flew by like that, but here we are: sock in hand, Dobby is free. I’m still a little stunned that this is happening, to be honest, so I’m going to think about it a little less and just yeet myself straight into everything I’ve got planned to celebrate with you guys!

Ony’s Freedom-Birthday-Bash Event-Extravaganza*!

September is not only the month that marks my liberation into full time art, but it’s also the moment I was ejected into the world, allegedly, already holding a crayon in my hand.

To celebrate I’ve planned a few things to do over the month for Patrons and followers to get involved with and maybe win a freebie or two! Here’s an overview of what days I’ve planned things for, with a breakdown below:

• Sept 2, Wednesday: Art Stream on twitch.tv/onyrica
• Sept 3, Thursday: Art give.away Twitter/Instagram (deadline for entry: Sept 30)
• Sept 12, Saturday: Surprise sketch marathon (for Patrons only!)
• Sept 16, Wednesday: Game Stream (game tbd)
• Sept 26, Saturday: The Wandering Artist (FFXIV hide and seek event)
• Sept 30, Wednesday: Art Stream on twitch.tv/onyrica + give.away close and winner announcement

I will post more information about the game events a few days ahead of when they take place, so keep an eye on your timelines/discord for extra info coming soon!

Other updates

As I may have mentioned once or three hundred and ninety two times by now, I am going fully freelance, which means all my time will be devoted to art and Patreon things!

As a first order of business, I will be doing some restructuring on both Onyrica.art and Patreon to better reflect key info on commissions, rewards and more. I appreciate that what I’ve cobbled together over the last 3 years may not convey all the necessary need-to-knows on my offering and it’s about time I sit down and do some housekeeping, so if you have any feedback on what you’d like me to improve please do speak up! As my supporters, your opinions are critical here!

Secondly, I’ve had a lot of interest in the new Extreme tier and some dismay at the fact that it’s limited to 10 slots. To answer this, I will be opening a new 5 slots between today and tomorrow- giving priority to those who have expressed direct interest. While I truly appreciate that many of you might want to support me as hard as you can (and honestly, you have no idea how much this means), it’s also important that I make sure I can deliver on everyone’s expectations, as being able to keep up with commissions and rewards is more important to me than earning more money. With that in mind, if at any point spots become available on the Extreme tier, patrons will always be the first to know!

Lastly, as I mentioned some time back, I’m going to be looking at ways to bring more physical reward options - such as prints and merchandise - into StarStickers, as an option for you to purchase with your hard-earned points! While I don’t have a set timeframe for this, I’m hoping to be able to have something set up before Christmas so please keep your eyes on this page.
