Added 2022-06-20 13:56:57 +0000 UTCHoly cow, this comic page will go down in history as 'most misjudged how much work it would be'. (Also, I had a hard drive faillure which ate a couple days to deal with.)
I had to cram a lot into one page, so there's a lot going on here. Her transformation will be complete on the next page. I'm still getting the hang of combining 3D modeled backgrounds and 2D drawn characters, but I think overall I like where it's going. The style may change slightly over time as I iterate on it.

2022-06-20 22:41:59 +0000 UTCA lot of the comics i read lately use this same method of drawn characters over 3D generated (and photoshop filtered) backgrounds, it seems to work well and be faster for them at least once they have all the assets in place :) so seems like a good idea for you to jump on it too

Oh, it's going to be a long wait for the next one even if it was one day away lol. Looking forward to it! And it's looking amazing even though you are using a new technique!

2022-06-20 21:39:06 +0000 UTCThanks! :) I haven't had a lot of problems, I think? This HDD was 6 years old, and I haven't lost any data. (though I would have if I had kept using it) The other hard drive that was problematic is an old external. And it turns out, it isn't actually broken, it's just quite slow. So far it still works, after... 15 years or so. But if you have suggestions, I'm all ears.
