Update. there was a Panic. now its over.

I reset my pc asking it to keep all my files for and it booted off an empty drive.
for a few minutes I was horrified to think I'd lost everything.
I've spent all day backing up files and important things like personal images, music and stuff that can easily be replaced to my dropbox.
