So a couple FYI's about this movie: At the beginning of the movie in the scene the 4 women are celebrating Graduating College, the voices speaking are of Bette, Goldie, Diane and Stockard speaking and not the younger actors talking. There is a cutaway in the scene where Brenda, Elise and Annie are drinking and Brenda asked Elise Did she have a little work, or the full enchilada? Enchilada was actually originally written as "The Full Ivana?" in reference to Ivana Trump... but since she was making an appearance at the end of the movie, they decided to remove that line, obviously in post production. When they go to the Gay Bar, the woman who approaches Elise, that is Lea DeLaria, who I know mainly from Orange Is the New Black. I like to Joke to Myself that the character of Phoebe, who was played by Elisabeth Berkley, famous from playing Nomi Malone from Showgirls, that Phoebe IS Nomi, but she went to NYC after the events of Showgirls and made a new Identity. I know that's NOT the case, but still like to think that! I think you would look fabulous in Elise's Hairstyle! GO FOR IT GURL! I'm so glad you loved this movie! While the beginning tackles a sensitive topic, the culmination of the movie and what they did to honor her and try to help others going thru similar issues, makes it all the best. The other stars in this movie: Dame Maggie Smith, SJP and a few others, its a great cast overall! I know I've mentioned Baby Boom as another Diane Keaton movie to watch, but another from Holdie Gawn is Private Benjamin, and there are several other Bette Midler ones too that are comedies she did wonderful in!
