With all the sequels that have been made since this one, its important to remember that this was supposed to be the concluding chapter of a trilogy. They were never planning on making more. This is why there is such an emphasis on her finally feeling safe at the end. In some ways, I wish it would have remained a trilogy. The story comes full circle and wraps everything up relatively well, bringing us to the root of all the madness. That being said, I hope scream 4 wins the poll this week. . .but I doubt it lol.
