HALLOBEANS poll!

OKAY for our last night vision poll - this is a collection of scary/horror/thriller/suspense films from any and all the years that I want to watch. YESSS most of them are more recent but it do be like that sometimes. Some are continuations as well!

I'll be picking the finalist via randomizer YouTube comment picker 11/1 so you have until that day to comment all the secret phrases on the videos!

I KNOW ITS A LOT OF CHOICES BUT I HAVE SO MANY I WANNA SEE DAMMIT.

Comments

I think terrifier is too brutal for ashleigh to handle

Gavin Hall

Needs Attack of the Killer Tomatoes back on the list!

Shane Plagmann

Definitely Idle Hands i love that movie!

Missy Schmader

People Under the Stairs is a wild ride definitely a slept on cult classic i hope some of these more under underestimated movies make the channel like haunted honeymoon 13 ghosts and People Under the Stairs

Missy Schmader

No but Insidious needs to happen.

Gio Vidrio

Personally I'd love to see her reaction to Smile and Insidious. Those 2 films have fantastic scare sequences that would scare her shitless. Her reactions will be epic! I can't wait til the day she does.

Norberto Aguiar

It's already on here. Just waiting on the Youtube edit.

Joe Blankenship

I LOVE FRIGHT NIGHT. Can't wait for her to see it.

Tami Studey

I don't think Fright Night is scary, but neither is The People Under The Stairs. Both are horror/comedy.

Kenton Kruger

Been around since the start and not only don't I remember seeing it on a poll, I'm not even sure it's come up in the comments more than once or twice. Personally I'd rather she see Invasion of the Body Snatchers (70s version) before she sees that one. That said The Faculty is an enjoyable enough watch.

Kenton Kruger

Please post your Scream 3 reaction

Joshua Reichert

OMGGGG I cannot even imagine how amazing it would be to see you experience Terrifier!

Brandy Joe

Maybe you should be more careful about not posting spoilers.

Liz Zero

I'll go out on a limb and suggest 'M'. The movie that made Peter Lorre a star.

Karl Balstad

Been on here voting for 2 years lol. Anyone wish The Faculty would show up anywhere on a poll? I searched and didnt see it( so sorry if missed) Wouldn't say Hallobeans but definitely a great millennial watch! Any suggestions where to throw it in? Or just me? Also next Hallobeans we need Idle Hands...

Nykki Selsing

Fright night is not scary. Terrifier is going to be awesome for Ashleigh to watch.

Kimi Vaughn

Yes scared the eff out of me

Vicky phillips

if you read what she posted above, "this is a collection of scary/horror/thriller/suspense films from any and all the years that I want to watch." shes gonna love Fright Night.

Bleedingreen

We're going to disappoint her with Fright Night. It's not a scary movie, but Smile might make her shit

Joseph Ricks

Fright Night is a Wednesday viewing. It's more fun, not scary.

Sharon Rogers

52 years old and I STILL have trouble watching that scene.

Wendy Smith

Mate, there has gotta be a more civil way of saying that. Bit of politeness costs nothing.

Paflad

And yes to the 1979 Salem's Lot. So scary and better than the new one.

Louise Brooks

Did Ashleigh ever watch Sinister? That is soooooo good.

Louise Brooks

Unfortunately, she didn't say she wanted to be scared out of her wits so that may have skewed to vote. But Fright Night is still a good movie regardless.

Wally

I don't consider them horror films tbh. They're just loud noises and jump scares.

PieHard13

Idle Hands or Warm Bodies would be good non-scary horror movies

Maria Yarber

That car is still bad ass… and I think you are right… I think Phantasm is a great example of how you can make a great low budget film!

Mike Gibson

I didn’t open my bedroom window for a whole summer when I saw that movie… Danny Glick wasn’t gonna get me! LoL

Mike Gibson

Wasn't the Hemi-cuda someone's personal car, too? Iconic theme music.

Wendy Smith

I finally get to say it! "Welcome to Fright Night ...for real." My favorite vampire movie! But I would like for Ashleigh to watch the 1979 "Salem's Lot" though. Made for TV, but still messed up me up when I was kid. But what else can you expect from a TV movie made be the same guy who did "TX Chainsaw Massacre:

Wendy Smith

Jon, Ly8nette, please address your comments ,to potty-mouth. Initially I thought your comments were directed to me.

R Kelly Coker

Well, Fright Night isn’t really scary imho. Of these options I think “The People Under The Stairs” is the contender. I also recommend the movie Phantasm from 1978, the movie creeped me out the first time I saw it, and they made the movie with like $12 some string, a roll of duct tape, and orange Fanta

Mike Gibson

I would like to recommend "Ginger Snaps (2000)" for the next pool. Great horror movie.

Leeland

Also PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS is incredible and doesn’t get viewed for reactions much

Joshua Reichert

Wow. Very rude. It's impossible to please everyone, comments like this do not help and are meant to hurt Ashleigh.

Lynette Cummins

And it's Fright Night by a landslide. 😎

Lynette Cummins

Fright Night!!!!!💜

Stezio Decardi

How about Bram Stoker's Dracula? Definitely a good one to add to the list.

William Stefens

Please dont do that, it upsets Ashleigh when things like this are said. This is Ashleighs channel and she can watch whatever she wants. please be more respectful going forward.

Bleedingreen

Totally agree. We love you Ashleigh, and we care about your well being. 🙂

James Sharp

The best way to explain the Terrifier series is...if you're a fan of those splatterfest, super gory grind house films of the '70's and '80's then this series is right up your alley. It's an excellent throwback to those films. Very little plot. Just a murderous clown that kills people in the bloodiest and most most sadistic ways possible. If this genre of horror is not for you then avoid at all costs.

James Sharp

LOL!

James Sharp

Oh...honey... there's no way you'll ever be prepared for Terrifier! 🪣🩸🩸🩸

James Sharp

Damn, I hate that The People Under The Stairs isn't getting more votes. It's a very underrated Wes Craven film.

Clay W

I've been waiting to see Insidious for so long so I voted for that. Next choice was Conjuring 2.

Susan AKA Maisy13(YT) AKA Susan_is_still_in_progress (threads,IG)

?????????!

TheSingulatarian

My best guess is it is a clown the mutilates people in the goriest way possible. Super cheap, low budget but it has fans. Not my cup of tea.

TheSingulatarian

This poll is shit. I think I've figured out how she comes up with the poll Choices she looks on IMDB and then looks on Max and Prime to see if they have those movies for free. Choices are bizarre to outright bad.

TheSingulatarian

Hahahahaha true

Paige Moody

If the original Salem's Lot was on the poll then that would be my choice.

R Kelly Coker

Exactly. I'm not sure why the SCARY movies aren't winning polls. Conjuring 2, Insidious, Talk to Me, etc.

Jacob Colson

Even though it's really....you know, it's a helluva lot more entertaining than what the Buffy movie was.

Jacob Colson

FRIGHT NIGHT!!! YES!!

Michael Parker

Brothers 'n' sisters, "Bride of Frankenstein"--- isn't scary either. Doesn't prevent it--- from bein' AWESOME...! :)

Chris Carman

I'm surprised I haven't seen Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive on a poll yet.

John Morgan

And like most of us, swoon over him! He was so sexy in this!!

Eric Fremen

If you’re looking to be really scared you can’t go wrong with Insidious I remember seeing that in the theater at like 10:30 at night when it came out and it scared the shit out of me.

Matthew Gallagher

I don’t think Fright Night is that scary, but let’s not make her suffer through The Terrifier. She’d throw up. Fright Night is more horror/comedy with a great soundtrack (cheesy 80s, but so fitting!), tense eroticism (who couldn’t resist Chris Sarandon!), cool homage to old school creature features, and a fun final act. It doesn’t need to be watched in night vision because it’s more of a fun horror film. The People Under the Stairs would be pretty scary for her, though. That one gets bats*** crazy. But Fright Night is a bit better in my opinion, so it gets my vote. I don’t think she’ll be terrified, but she’ll have a great time!

Eric Fremen

Saaaame, I've been waiting to see Cabin on another poll! I was so sad it lost that year 😞

JC

She didn't say that, though that's what I was expecting, based on previous years. If she wants to be piss-her-pants scared, I'd recommend she choose different movies. None of these, IMO, fit that bill.

Cass&Jason

I voted for Fright Night because it's just an all around great movie, with a few good scares, but if you are truly looking to be terrified you should make sure you watch Insidious. It ranks at the top of the scary list, up there with the original Conjuring. BTW you are doing an amazing job with this years Hollobeans, like every year, thank you.

DC Adams

Fright Night isn’t a scary movie

Mikey Russo

honestly i do think this movie will scare her, maybe not as much as some others but still. plus im going off what this paticular poll is saying. "this is a collection of scary/horror/thriller/suspense films from any and all the years that I want to watch"

Bleedingreen

Ok. Good to know. Clowns don't bug me but maybe this one would. I'll pass because I'm a chicken. 🐥

Lynette Cummins

It's a shame Hereditary isn't on here because I still think that's a slam dunk for freaking Ashleigh out.

Tyler Foster

Don't forget, guys: she wants to be scared out of her wits. I dunno if Fright Night is that kind of movie...

Tyler Foster

I've only seen one of these. I must not have very high expectations for this type of movie.

Robert Reichle

But then she can see Prince Humperdink again!

William Willis

Talk to me is criminally underrated imo

Michael Atakpa

remember this is Ashleigh were talking about. Venom scared Ashleigh

Bleedingreen

Ah man! I may have to change my vote! Sad :(

Ben and Gininda Samways

The original Salems Lot would be a great choice!

Tina Thomure

Fright Night isn’t scary 💅🏽

Paige Moody

LMFAO! Yep. Vomit inducing.

b nope

the remake is like a video game speed run through the plot. could have been / should have been at least an hour longer

Skip

I’ve seen many of these. I would love for her to see “Terrifier”. I’m okay with many choices, I LOVE “Fright Night”….but it’s not scary!

Susan Holly

its the horror movie version of 2 girls one cup

Skip

my thinking precisely

Skip

Voted for Fright Night but disappointed Cabin in the Woods has not made another poll appearance since its second place finish to Event Horizon. It would be a great way to end October.

Cristina Collins-Armstrong

The plot of the movies are very simple. Survive Art the Clown. He is an evil entity that isn't above ANY forms of death and torture. These movies are basically Torture and Gore porn. VERY violent and VERY GRAPHIC. Not for everyone.

b nope

I remember seeing Fright Night in the theater... good times...

Michael McSwiney

Same I love then but I don't want to put her through that, it just seems cruel lol

Matt

Damn, Talk to Me would freak Ashleigh the eff out lol

JC

What in the world are these Terrifier movies about? Everyone is saying the same thing. I'm kinda nervous to look it up.

Lynette Cummins

I really wouldn’t say fright night is in the dark worthy scary so I of course voted for the conjuring 2 because last year the first one was my favorite hallobeans video

Jordan Wyant

Thank gods Terrifier didn't win. I love those movies, but they are NOT for her. Too much.

b nope

Oh yeah, Fright Night... Chris Sarandon is gonna give Ashleigh some sort of feelings.... and Yes, you have seen people in other movies or even in tv shows... don't try to remember who they are and get distracted.

Travis Taylor

Finally, one I've seen is going to win.

Bill Bevins

FRIGHT NIGHT! GREAT ASS MOVIE

Blu

Fright Night's the only one I've seen. But Talk to Me seems interesting so I voted for that.

Joe Blankenship

Fright night is a really fun one and worth a watch but it's not like "scary". I voted Insidious. That's like THE jump scare movie lol it made me jump so many times I think it would be a real hoot to watch with Ashleigh

Jacob Jones

I am telling you, as a horror hound. As someone who has loved this genre for since she was 7 years old. Do not do Terrifier yet. You will throw up. You will not have a good time. Give it some time. I adore you and your videos. Don't do this one yet.

Desi Jeffers

Fright Night gets my vote. I'm so excited it made this list. I want Ashleigh to meet Jerry Dandrige. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥💋

Lynette Cummins

Sooo many good choices 😆

Madame Kitty

I agree with the comment about Terrifer. I’ve only seen a few minutes of another YouTube reaction to it and that was more than enough. It’s extremely graphic. I’d skip it forever.

PlaceForFaith

Not a fan of any of these. Recent horror movies have been rather bland to us. 🤷‍♀️ House of 1000 Corpses! It's so wild, like a psychedelic nightmare. I have no idea if Ashleigh would like it, but that's the point of a reaction channel, right? Meanwhile, watch V for Vendetta the first Monday of November!

Cass&Jason

And let it b the OG fright night plz not the remake

Steven Arroyo

Wen he morphed into a wolf and got stab. The noises he mad while dying holy crappy was crazy..

Steven Arroyo

Saddened that you didn't get to Exorcist III.

dork knight

OMG Fright Night or People under the stairs!!!!!! PPZ MISS ASH DO A DOUBLE FEATURE PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steven Arroyo

I was thinking the same thing... I loved it but it might make her sick

Adam Doyle

Dammit my heart wants to vote Fright Night but Insidious in night vision will be straight fire.

Skip

Well, Salem’s Lot the original is the only movie that had me sleeping on floor at the foot of my parents’ bed as a child, so the remake has to be good, right? Plus, my husband won’t watch scary movies with me, so I can do the watch along with you if it wins. Win-win

Ben and Gininda Samways

🎵 Fright Night (Fright Night), who’s it gonna be toniiiiiiiiiiiight 🎵

Chelsea

GAH!!! I Loooooove Fright Night SO much. “You’re so cool Brewster!”

Liz Zero

You really don't want to watch Terrifier. Take that right off the list.
