Hey Ashleigh, did you notice that Buffy's mom is played by the same actress as the neighbor mom in Honey, I shrunk the kids?

A long time fan of watching Ashleigh movie reactions on YT but now adding Buffy. I had to join your Patreon. Enjoy the ride and don’t let those with their own character preferences bully you into shipping their teams. 😂

Good call mentioning the post credits ep. I think it's ok to give the episode number though. (9) That way it isn't in her head for every ep.

This is a show with some quick banter and funny asides. Unlike a traditional comedy it must be hard to realize when you can and can not squeeze in some commentary. Not sure if she still has someone else doing the edits of the TV shows; kind of hope she's doing them herself so she catches the bits she missed.

I loved the first 2 reactions and Ashleigh's comments, but as she was talking and looking at the camera, she definitely missed some good lines/jokes/plot points. I almost want to start a "Did you catch this..." thread.

Love that you have entered the Buffyverse, get ready for a WILD ride! I would only suggest that you watch thru the end credits as there is occasionally a small variation on the 'grr arrgh' character. Oh, and there is one small end credit scene in a s1 episode. That's the only spoiler you'll get from me ;) Happy reacting!

Her "super jump" always looked so awkward

Also, I want you to know I really appreciate you doing Buffy. Since I started watching the channel I wanted a Buffy reaction, but I didn't think it'd ever happens, first you didn't react to tv shows, then i wasn't sure if you wanted to watch something as long as Buffy, but now I'm so happy and I know you won't regret it. This was worth the price of Patreon all by itself.

Yes, watching today I couldn't help but laugh. 'See me break this chain and throw around these vampires, but Wait! this door is my undoing!

You know, I always see those and wonder, and even today I stared at them and could not think what in the world they could be. Thank you for clearing up that mystery!

Oh and the round things in Buffy's trunk were communion wafers. I have no idea how you'd use them to fight vampires. I think the prop guy was just looking for things to fill the trunk.

Buffy's strength in the first couple eps is pretty inconsistent, and it's always been a pet peeve. But they figure it out from episode 3 onward. And hey, the only reason it got to be a pet peeve is because I've watched this so many times. Think that's a testament to how good it gets.

I've heard that intro music probably 1000 times now. Still not tired of it.

To answer your question of why the mouths are all slightly open, the fang prostheses are rather large and awkward. For actors who are around for a while, they're fitted. Day players just get the standard model, which can push on the inside of the lips like really funky braces.
