Zemo actually hated the serum and super soldiers...he took the position that they were unnatural and needed to be extermined for the good of man kind. That is why he shot Wilfred and later destroyed the serum when Karli dropped it..AND had his valet bomb the surviving super soldiers at the end.

2025-02-25 00:38:20 +0000 UTCI'm sure it will come up in the Youtube comments, but Zemo didn't work for Hydra - he captured a Hydra guy at the beginning of the Civil War movie and tortured him for information. That's why he knows their secrets (he stole some journals, which included the codewords to control the Winter Soldier).

2024-02-16 19:02:00 +0000 UTCFun fact Madripoor the setting we see in this episode was introduced in The New Mutants #32 (October 1985) so naturally it has heavy ties to X-Men-related storylines. Disney's acquihired 21st Century Fox in 2019 which in return allowed Marvel Studios to regain the film rights to The X-Men, and The Fantastic Four. So I believe this also included location as well such as Madripoor. Madripoor itself is a fictional island and city located just south of Singapore. It’s a city divided between the wealthy Hightown and impoverished, crime-ridden Lowtown, the perfect place for gangs, thugs, assassins, hitmen etc. It played a big part in the second World War as well, Steve Rogers, Captain America was stationed here in the comics where he actually met Logan for the first time. in the MCU we only saw Cap fighting on the Western Front so can't say for sure if Steve ever visited Madripoor, maybe he did during that time jump montage. You can also see Princess Bar in the backdrop of one of the scenes in this episode, a bar visited by Wolverine that is pretty iconic to his adventures in Madripoor.
