I’m super glad to have watched your watch-along with you, and also wish I could see the “Let’s Talk About It.”
If anyone knows where I can get her after the show segment, please let me know. I would seriously appreciate it.

Ashleigh, that song is Closer to Fine by the Indigo Girls. You have to give it a listen, you’ll love it!!

Ashleigh, since you found a new future ex- husband named Ryan Gosling, you would like "Drive" (2011), an action drama that's violent and bloody.

And yes, all the mentioned weird dolls are real things that actually existed. Even Sugar Daddy Ken.
The one thing I've always found weird about Ken being Barbie's "boyfriend" is that Barbie is named after Ruth's daughter Barbara...and Ken is named after her son, Kenneth. If anyone should be Barbie's boyfriend, it should be Alan; he was named after her son-in-law (as it was, he was paired with pregnant Midge as part of the "Happy Family" set, for some reason).

This has been on my watchlist since it came out; you doing a reaction has provoked me to actually rent it on Amazon and watch it so I could watch your reaction.
The scene where Gloria is monologuing is awesome and I actually laughed out loud at Helen Mirren's narration about casting Margot Robbie when Barbie is talking about not being pretty.
I think anyone who hates this film and says that it's anti-men really wasn't paying attention, because as far as I can tell the one of the main points of it is that any form of one-sided society is bad. At least that's how I interpreted it.
(America Ferrera played Betty in "Ugly Betty". She is also absolutely gorgeous.)
