This is the first time I've cried watching a movie while Ashleigh didn't lol but Gwen in all her iterations has always been one of my favorite Marvel characters

2024-02-08 04:48:10 +0000 UTCThere are some extra materials with an end credit scene but maybe they’re only on the Blu-ray. It was somewhat controversial. You’ve may have heard this by now, but Gwen Stacy, in the comic books, is his high school girlfriend, and she dies in a way similar to this. He stops her from a fall, but the stop is so abrupt. It breaks her neck. And he carries that baggage forward into the relationship with Mary Jane when he’s older (although, the Mary Jane relationship was created earlier. And the Gwen Stacy storyline was written at a later time, even though it takes place at a younger point in Peter‘s life.
