I had only seen the movie Too Big To Fail on the 2008 housing crash.

Agree with you π―. I know this is complicated to follow, especially if you have a hard time focusing, but I feel like this movie was so important. And I feel like trying to understand it is also important. βThose who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.β
I lived through this after right after college and my life plans and goals got screwed, and I know many others that went through the same thing or went through worse because of this. And for me those movie helped me understand what happened and why. Granted, it really shaped my opinions on corporations and corporate greed, but since I was very much affected by the crash, thatβs why I feel strongly about this movie and the point of it. I know life isnβt fair, but I feel like itβs important to try our best to make it more fair for everyone else.

As Ryan Gosling says in the movie, they don't want you to understand it. They want you to think it is far too complicated so you'll trust them, and you won't see how much they are screwing over everybody else. I could go on a very prolonged rant about it, but this is clearly not the place. I get that this movie was way too much information in such a short amount of time. But I believe it behooves everybody to learn more about this and how white-collars punks game the system to line their pockets while the rest of us pick up the tab.
