Ashleigh, i too do not understand the love for this movie, beyond some iconic quotable lines. The characters are mostly jerks or pervs, even the main characters. I never find myself rooting for anyone. Half Baked would have been such a better movie for 4/20! Maybe next year.

This was more of cramming a bunch of stuff together that high school kids would do in the 70s into one movie. The hazing was more of a "right of passage" thing in the same mind set of when pledging for a sorority/fraternity. Getting yourself into the "cool kids" club. Surprised you didn't recognize the young Ben Affleck till the credits. Towns used to be much more united back then. Everyone knew everyone else and people know the local hotspot hangout spots every weekend. You could say this was more of a culture movie, than one with much plot/story.

I was especially confused when Ash did her "Ok, let's talk about it" and then the video just ended. Is there a 'talk about it' video somewhere I'm not seeing?
