The Rizchek fiancé is Karl the janitor from the Breakfast Club and the pastor at the wedding is Bill Murray’s brother.

Anouk Jones

It was plain ass racist. Hughes movies are whiter than mayonnaise

Adam Wetstein

I'm so glad you watched this even if you are not a fan of the legend that is John Hughes. These are essential if you eventually go on to watch any of the Kevin Smith movies down the road. You have to keep in mind that the 80s was a generation that basically raised themselves and there was no PC language and things like consent were viewed *much* differently. We were fairly feral as a generation.

Cosmic Slice

But Caroline could have passed out and Ted just fell asleep. Neither one had any memory of that night either. John Hughes needed get Jake and Sam together, was this the best way? Probably not. Mask will be an easier movie for everyone to see and comment on.

I've never seen this movie or even heard of it lol I've seen quite a few of john hughes movies and was suprised when i looked on imdb at his movies how many actors had recuring roles Also the lad called geek was jim out of edward scissor hands he changed a bit in them 6 years

Molly’s sister, Beth Ringwald is in this, as well. She plays Patty, the girl picked up and carried off by the jock.

Jill Peterson

It is more gray than people who complain about it usually say. The two points against your argument though are that Ted was not blackout drunk when he agreed to the situation they found themselves in and Jake was completely sober when he sent them on their way.

Kenton Kruger

Also... how did we miss that Farmer Ted ended up as drunk as what's her name, and neither one of them knew what they were doing at the time? It's not just a "she was drunk, so no consent." What about him? Heck, she's probably 18 or about to be, and he's definitely not. So maybe she should be the one frowned upon. Or again, maybe neither one since they were both out of their minds.

Robert Reichle

A shame that so many people prepped Ashleigh ahead of time to be looking for things that she'd find inappropriate instead of just letting her react to it on her own without watching for things like that.

Robert Reichle

Love the reaction.. we need to get more John Cusack in to this girls life… Con Air, Grosse Point Blank…

Michael Taylor

The “underwear” the boys have on their heads on the bus are jock straps. Also, that “neck brace” is headgear for her braces, I believe.

Brittyn Lindsey

ASHLEIGH! If I am not mistaken, you have seen the Addams Family movies, so maybe you know Joan Cusack as Debbie in Addams Family Values?

Michael Tocci

A&W (yes, the root-beer people, who branched out into restaurants) was still using drive-in car-window trays up through the 70’s. That, and a few other independent places…Think mine was the last generation before the Drive-Thru window was invented.

Eric Janssen

Parenthood is one I've been pushing on here for a while.

Kenton Kruger

Thank you so much for watching, Ashleigh! Hilarious 80’s comedy. Mask is a great movie as well. Hope you watch ‘Stand By Me’ & ‘Parenthood’ some day.

Rudy Hernandez

Yeah that tray on the car window was a throwback to the 1950s Sonic Burger places, where you drove up to a parking spot, and the waitress on roller skates would bring out your order on a tray that attaches to your window.
