*Staring at the movie poster* "Maybe I'll recognize Kevin Costner once the movie starts." *He's literally the center of the poster.

Playing to her fondness for alliteration, now that's knowing your target.

It'd be fun to do a mystery movie theme for March: Sherlock Holms, Knives Out, Memento, The Usual Suspects, Death on the Nile, and some comedies like Without A Clue 1988, Pink Panther etc. Think of the alliteration! Millennial Movie Moday March Mystery Month

I couldn't agree more with Kenton. Let's keep this about the movies Ashleigh watches and comments about movies we would like her to watch. Places like this can be a nice place to take a break from things.

Can we not avoid politics that aren't directly related to the film? It's been nice to have this one place to visit that has mostly avoided it. Seems to be ramping up again now, asked someone to avoid (and they politely took out) a pro truck convoy comment a couple days ago. would hate to see this board turn it to a "Fuck you, Trump sucks!", "Fuck you, Trump 2024!" back and forth.

Now you need to see Costner in a comedy/romance/sports movie. Bull Durham is terrific!

It’s almost impossible to watch DeNiro’s Capone playing it up to his adoring reporters—“They’re all coming after me, with these accusations, because I’m successful, but they got nothin’!”—and not hear Trump during his mounting investigations. If you’ve been hearing a lot of jokes in the last few weeks about “They got Al Capone on tax evasion”, now you know the reference.

A 200 yard open sight shot!!!!!! Don't mess with a southern girl. Hell, even Dolly Parton said she had to pull a gun on some fool many years ago. Don't mess with Dolly or Ashleigh, and Beans, well she'd just cut ya.

a few good old gangster movies hopefully for the future: The Valachi Papers (1972) and Roger Corman's The St. Valentine's Day Massacre (1967) and for comedy Johnny Dangerously, a parody of the 1930's gangster movies with Michael Keaton

It wasn't a head shot at the station. It was a mouth shot.

Sadly, based on how The Godfather was received, I doubt we'll be getting a reaction video to Part II. 😄

This film is a fav in this house we watch it at least once a year but for two complete different recommendations please watch Singing in the Rain and the 1939 classic The Women.

DeNirro was in Godfather Part 2... And yes, he was a young Vito Corleone in a series of Flashbacks...
