NSFW Audio Redistribution
Added 2021-08-22 23:06:38 +0000 UTCIt's been brought to my attention that some patrons have been redistributing and cataloguing mine and other VAs' NSFW content onto different websites. I do not condone this and do not permit anyone to upload any NSFW audios period.
They are behind a paywall for a reason:
1. Extra content means extra work, and for those interested, it's an opportunity to explore my creativity and supply audios to those who wish to pay for it
2. To protect minors from accessing such content
I am aware that if minors want to consume this type of content, they will find the means to do so no matter how much something is protected. Despite this, it is disgusting knowing that some patrons (likely adults) have taken the time to steal my work and knowingly share on platforms with minors.
To those responsible: Nothing will justify your actions. I do not want you affiliated with this community in any way, so for all of our sakes, I advise you to leave.
In light of what's happened, content can no longer be downloaded. I apologise that I was unable to prevent this from happening, and because of it, I am going to have a long think about what to do with Patreon in the future. Whether that be continuing with exclusive audios or stopping completely, I'm not sure.
I'm truly at a loss. But to those who have stuck by me and continue to support me without trouble, I adore and love you so much. I wouldn't be making this content without you. I'm just sorry that a few have spoiled this for the rest, and I hope you understand if I become a little inactive as I figure out what to do from here on out. The next exclusive audio is in progress, but it may take longer for it to be uploaded. I guess we'll see.

Haven’t been able to do back to back months but I did resubscribed when I could and have enjoyed everything you’ve done. Now time for the stupid question. What does it mean that you’re turning off the download option? I’m on iPhone and I can press a button next to the audio which saves the audio in app so I can listen offline. Is that what this is referring to?

Well maybe it is, but some people didn't think that this is not only illegal but also very damaging for you, the community and other VAs and their work. If those who stole/uploaded the content read this, here's my advice for you: Come clear this second, don't hesitate to come forward and apologize and explain. You have lost the privilege to be a part of this community, may this be a giant lesson for you to consider all consequences of your actions. Saku and his work are unique and genius, and what you did was more than disrespectful and illoyal and wrong, it's also poisoning for the community. I guess you didn't take the time to imagine the damage and how hurtful this is for Saku. Well, now you know. Of course the internet seems like a vast lawless place. But YOU decide how you act here. What kind of character you want to be in this world, including the internet. Everything you do has a effect on your character and how people perceive you. And even though we at this moment do not know who you are, you now know how we feel and think about you. Don't drift any further. This is your chance to understand, repent, and take a different road. You have lost your place in this community, now work hard so you can trust yourself and others more until you can be a part of another community again. If you do not understand and change now, you will be very, very lonely until you do. It might not seem that way maybe, but you will feel it. Get up and change! This is your life, and you are in charge. Pull yourself together. No one likes a thief and no one really likes a person who harms minors!! You all put so much work into your creations and to see people break the rules and distribute them behind your back is frustrating and disappointing. Being mad over this is entirely valid!! I hope this get’s sorted out and fixed soon. You all deserved to be treated with the respect you all deserve! The people doing such things better stop, this isn’t fun for anyone when so much work goes into it for the respectable people who support you and many voice actors /voice asmrtists .

Do whatever you must to protect yourself and your work. As stated in the comments and symbolically through the likes, we are here for you not matter what you decide. If it's any consolation, this sadly, only shows how amazing you are that your work has garnered enough attention that people want more of it by any means they deem necessary. It's the incredibly terrible side of fame. 😔 If it means anything, I hope you take some solace in knowing that you are the first VA that I have ever actively chosen to support because of how strongly I believe in your work. And your talent, for all the good it brings, deserves to be supported. I'm confident many many others feel the same way. That's why it baffles me that anyone who is willing to support you would be so crass and thoughtless as to share your private/ exclusive work without permission. And what startles me the most is that lack of empathy on their part. You Give So Much of your heart, your time, your health, and your creativity to produce something that would be of benefit to the listener. I can only imagine that creating content that is NSFW for the *adults* who are supporting you would be even more challenging. Besides figuring out the logistics of making time for that to happen in your home with family near you, I see it as you willing to be vulnerable for someone else's pleasure. Just the fact that you allow yourself to be in that space and, from just knowing your other content, to do so with such authenticity that the listener can truly escape and be in that moment, to me that takes a lot more effort than those pirates seem to understand. It's quite a shame. I wish I could offer some suggestions to prevent this but sadly I haven't been able to think of any since I read the news last night but I'll continue to think as well. I also don't look for this type of content (I haven't even had the pleasure of listening to yours. I thought maybe one day I'll warm up to that but c'est la vie 🤷♀️) so I wouldn't even know where to search for it and report them just to you help out. Sorry. But if ya'll need me to throw down some BTS Army action for ya, I got your back. I wish I could do more for you other than to say that you're amazing and wonderful and you will get through this. They're committing a CRIME. It's devastating that people can get away so easily while you literally worked your butt off day and night, dealt with health issues, AND tended to other personal matters outside your VA work. If, you actually want to quite producing audios for person reasons, that is your business. I think we can all understand the creative process . . .hell, life isn't alway conducive to creativity. I've been a part of many VA's communities before, even helped managed their social medias and prevent (try tbh) that kind of thing from happening. It was undoubtedly the plague which was taking us all the most energy. I don't know if there's really a way to completely fix it but turning off downloads is a good start. This is not only redistributing but also the greatest disrespect you could ever show to a creator who spends energy and care to give the people supporting them good content. Anyone spoiling this should feel ashamed of themselves. I'll start reporting any I come across as well and I hope it won't get in the way of your motivation/ambition. You're incredibly talented and giving so much joy to everyone here. You deserve better, the very best.
