This Week in the Forest! #176

YO FOLKS! Since launching that build a bit ago, we took a bit of time off for the holidays and what not.

But I've been cooking up a buncha assets and some interesting shenanigans, so figured I'd share that now!

WHO IS THIS HORSE?! Meet Calypso! She's one of FOUR horses I got prepped for animating a couple months ago. There's 3 females and 1 male. I've got A LOOOT of plans for these horses, and I figured they'd go perfectly into the monthly animations for Patreon. (Horse Designs were made by HattieZazu, and base retopo/rigging by v747)

Have a lil test animation I made forever ago!

A word on that: I messaged Patreon a few weeks ago to see if these designs are OK for explicit content. And they haven't responded. I mentioned before, that the patreon terms kind of made some of the animation stuff a bit questionable. But I've at least asked, and figured I'll just go ahead and post stuff. Better that than sitting on my hands regarding these future projects :x
SO! The monthly animations will return! 10$+ folks will get to vote on what shenanigans they get up to!

I also have SFW plans for these that will be really fun to share in the future!

TFOL-Wise, I've been working on a lot of assets, prepping for Act 4! I did quite a bit of sprite animation this week, but for now I'll share a lil snipped of some assets and visual tests.

I'm not sure if I've shared any of the new tile-sets I got commissioned a bit ago. They Abbey has a very different feel/vibe. Narratively, Gameplay, kinda everything! There'll be a good amount of like "gameplay" here, and space is important for that. So I needed to make tiles that worked. If some of y'all recall, I had plenty of attempts in the past, but I've been kinda in over my head with this, so I got some help earlier this year. The artist did a fuckin' awesome job, it's been a huge help!

OK! That's it for now. See ya guys soon!

I *highly* doubt patreon would respond ngl ... Platform is slowly becoming 'modern'. Rules seem to be made without much thought, but again I'm curious if they do
