Definitely the best thing I've watched in over a decade, and honestly sits on equal footing in quality with the original trilogy, but for completely different reasons and with a completely different tone. I love how it turned Rogue One into a seamless Andor series finale with so much more emotional weight than it had as a standalone one-off.

It's a prequel series that takes place before the original Star Wars trilogy that came out in the 80s, so you don't have to know about the full lore to understand this standalone series. Andor is also the prequel series to the prequel movie 'Rogue One' that came out in 2016, which I'd also recommend to watch. Andor has lots of parallels with the Palestinian struggle for emancipation, and the director and writers also explicitly confirmed this. It is an emotional and inspiring series following the story of multiple characters who are all fighting against the imperialist regime and colonization of their planet.
